Well done Teacher :T
This is the problem we all face - boring sarnies. I'm going to make some chilli and freeze some portions to use later in the month.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
oooh I like this thread
(delurking) I know its a bit late but can I join in? I have sausage pasta leftovers for lunch today
I have managed to make lunch to take in 4 days of my 18 this month......I also make sure OH has his lunch too, I tend to make big batches of veggie curry on my days off to break up the sarnie days.... Every Penny's a prisoner :T0 -
7 completed here. Not all sandwiches as there were some evening shifts in there. Left over chilli with rice and left over pasta bake for 2 of them. Standard sarnies for the rest.December 2014 GC 71.59/3000

Day 2... Brought another leftover from last night for lunch today.
Imagine me all smile while updating here. So proud of myself. And mind you... I am drinking tea and did not buy my cappuccino at the Cafeteria.

Hiya can you update me to 6/19 please.
Day 4 (Bread & Soup from home), Day 5 (Cheese & Ham pieces), Day 6 (leftover Chicken curry in a wrap) and had cereal and yoghurt each day for breakfast.
This challenge is fantastic. I have tried the NSD challenge before with mixed results and I am signed up to the 1% challenge (no progress on that yet so went back to lurking until I get my act together) but I will get back to this soon.
Since I have started this I have managed to have 6 nsd as I have planned my shop so I can take lunch to work and as I have no reason to be in the shops its been easier not to spend. Think this is the key to all the others as it is really manageable and has a great knock on effect on my spending.
Also the new lunch ideas are great :T0 -
Evening everyone :j
OK we have a newbie, welcome evie451 :hello: I'll certainly add you to the list
why not - I am craving chilli now
I might make a batch in my little slow cooker tomorrow
Trixie - I'm so pleased you feel proud of yourself, good on yer :T
Nellie - It's fantastic that you are spending less, what about making a payment a day or a payment every week with the money you've saved?
Keep out of those shops, keep out of those shops (repeat
)
Right I'm off to update you :TKarma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -

I'm back at work next week and will be having gluten-free soup. Unfortunately I can't stomach gluten-free baked goods like bread and crackers and rice-cakes which upset me as much as gluten - anyone got any suggestions on what I can have with the soups? Or should I just go for desserts/fruit? I don't find soup filling at all, even chunky soup."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000
