Hi all! I would like to join the thread. We booked our church this week and we're also getting married on the 26th July. Seems like it's a very popular date.

We're on a very tight budget but so far we have the church and my dress.

I'm meeting with the owner of a reception venue next week so hopefully that will be sorted asap. It will either be there or in my parents' garden.

Hi serious! Another date twin! Congratulations! The next few months are going to fly by.

I had my dress fitting the other day and have now brought my dress home. It's beautiful! Needs a little alteration on the straps as they're huge but the rest of the dress fits perfectly.

Booked my honeymoon today. I am sooo excited. 2 weeks all inclusive to Mauritius. I cannot wait!

I don't think so. I'm really just looking forward to being married to my OH. We're getting married almost 11 years, to the day, since our first date.

Same! We will have been together for 11 years at the end of September!
We've been engaged for 5 years. All my friends have gotten engaged and married and some have even had kids in the time it has taken us!

Tried my dress and started making favours. Have you sent our invites yet? We've ordered something to be sent with the invites, once they've arrived they'll be in the post.

Honeymoon isn't booked but we know what we are doing. We'll organise the flights & hotels are ourselves.

We haven't even ordered our invites yet. We're trying to sort our menu tasting at the moment as we weren't sure if we were giving a choice to people in terms of food. I'm panicking about it getting late, so hoping wedding coordinator at venue gets back to us soon!

It's a relief to know we aren't the only ones being slack with our invites. OH has almost finished the actual invite but we can't send them until the part arrives.

What are your food choices?

We're not sure yet! We never agree on food so it's going to be a difficult choice!
