Dear lord, in one months time I shall be a MRS and not a miss!!


Am trying to think through everything I may have forgotten, am sure I have left something to book somewhere _pale_

Two weeks Friday and it'll all be over for me!!


Ladies (and gents)....how are you all getting on????


Slightly annoyed that only today did I receive an email from photographer saying that "could we please pick them up from nearest train station".... bit miffed, they should be sorting their own transport out as there was no mention of transport before this, so assumed they'd be getting there under their own steam.


Also, we paid for a full day, and her times now say 3:30pm - 7pm, doesn't feel very "full day" to me.


I need to phone them tomorrow, but obviously don't want to say wrong thing, and have a peeved photographer doing our photos.

How do they expect you to have time to collect them, you'll be busy doing other things? Can they not get a taxi? With regards to the full day issue, do you have a contract with them which states their hours of work?

Just a month to go for us. Feel like we still have loads to do.

Problem sorted thankfully, she is getting a taxi now, but yh I'd rather now have had the issue in the first place, stress over nothing.... 7 days count down now!!


No other responses on how ppl are getting on so suspect everyone else is busy atm too

Photographer is arriving to get photos before we leave but won't be there for the whole transformation, which tbh I don't mind, other ppl there will be taking pictures so that's fine.

Everything else is looking ok, so just need to get the party started

It suddenly hit me at the suit shop yesterday when I took my pageboy in for his fitting and the woman said "See you in 3 weeks!!"

Can't believe it!

Phew, wedding complete and had lovely day.

Few things went wrong, but managed to smile through the majority of it, best advice for everyone is don't let the little things upset you too much, have a mad shout/swear/cry 2 mins then just accept it.

My wedding car turned up and was one of those lovely old fashioned cars, didn't realise until I went outside that it had been left open top. No bride wants a 35 min drive with her wedding hair exposed to driving at over 40mph! They said it would take too long to put it down and I was running a bit late so had to lean forward into part of the covered car...nightmare at the time!

Cake had problems started bulging as cake boards were wrong size, I left my wedding jewellery behind as forgot to put it on, band were 2 hours left (stuck in traffic), the caterer only had half their equipment being used (they said it wasn't stable so a H&S issue). Fun times!!!

Overall the day was still good but little things can and will go wrong so expect and accept the issues will crop up and don't let it upset you too much on the day.
