Good Morning,
Snowy - glad you found kitty
N9eav - Happy Anniversary!!! (and please post recipe)
Catowen - Hope ur headache gets better as the day goes on
Morning 2 Amie and dogrose and all those 2 follow and all those who snuck in while I was typing!! xx
I've had a restless night and I don't know why but my body clock told me it was time to get up at 4:eek: but I finally managed to get back to sleep til 6 when I was rudely awaken by my alarm clock - however body clock was then telling me it was still middle of the night :rotfl:
DD1's lunch box is made, DD2's bags ready 2 go 2 childminder and dogs had b/fast. I'm just having my caffeine fix before I get dressed (have already washed) and have prepared paperwork that needs to be dealt with to take to work and sort out.
I'm working from the office this week but my IBS plays me up in the mornings and I get very stressed so the sooner that I get to work from home the better.
Had a bit of an awkward conversation with my Dad on Sat and feel bad - I texted him hoping to smooth things over on Sat night and haven't heard from him since.
After work and collecting kids, I've got to take the dog to the vets to have his stitches out and then do tea, kids homework and baths before dropping them at my friends house so that I can go to college 6-8pm. While they are in the bath I'll tidy and clean upstairs.
Dinner tonights got to be quick n easy coz busy, busy so have got a chicken breast n mash with redwine sauce for me n a mash/chicken/broccoli pie for the kids out to defrost ready to wack in microwave 2night :T
Hope every1 has a good day and big ((((HUGS)))) to those that want/need them.

Lovely day here, but work, so the lotie will have to wait until tomorrow. Got our first home-grown strawberries over the weekend, and they were gorgeous
Running late today, so just a quick hello before I take the dog out. Have a good day everyone xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Good Morning All
Happy Anniversary N9eav - hope all your plans pan out.!
Hope everyone is fine. Had a nice day yesterday, meal was as expected and we didnt get home till 4 which was a little later than I wanted. Sat in the garden for an hour reading then we decided to have a picnic tea at a lovely beach not far from here. The tide was in, the sun was warm and it was a lovely end to the day.
Plans today are - a little paperwork and ironing here this morning before I set off to the dentist to have a filing renewed. From leaving to getting home it will be 2 hours so that is a big chunk of the day gone. This afternoon/evening will be more office work and ironing before I cook dinner. Looks like its going to be a nice day so Im slightly gutted but at least we enjoyed the sunshine yesterday.
Aimee - normally when its nice weather I try and do housework early morning and evening so its not too hot when I do it and I can also spend some time outside.
Anyway need to go and load wm, unload dw and make ds' lunch.
Have a great day all.0 -
Morning all
N9eav - Happy anniversary
Hope you all had a great weekend. We had a very productive but rather expensive one. We finally managed to buy our new car and we picked that up saturday. Then I drove home (3hrs!) and did all the lawns and the front hedges :T
Yesterday then we bought our new patio set which is lovely so it means that when my parents came around for lunch yesterday they didn't have to worry about where to put things on the table without the worry of what ever it was falling through one of the many missing slats
Usual planned for today although I'm still ignoring the ironing and paperwork mountains that I have going on, both of which are getting worse so I think I must crack on with that tonight.
Hope everyone has a great day and take or leave the :grouphug: as needed. You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Morning All
N9eav - happy anniversary
Well I did Race for Life yesterday. I finished in 39 minutes. Not what I wanted, but I did get a really bad stitch at the first k marker:mad: Raised over £100:T
I have a plan for getting extra time off work, which I'm planning on working on when I see me boss;) Basically got 16 days left, but I want a month away:rolleyes:
My desk really needs a tidy up, but I know if I do that, I won't be able to find anything!!!! My legs really hurt after yesterday - that'll teach me not to warm down at the end of exercise. And I used to be a PE student too:rotfl:
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning everyone
Happy Anniversary n9eav Have a good evening.
Glad kitty was found safe and well Snowy
Amie enjoy Asda
Cat hope your headache lifts. This warm, muggy weather won't be helping it.
Pen-Pin hope the soreness goes soon and you enjoy your day out.
kyle good luck at the hospital and don't spend too much money afterwards.
scuzz well done on the Race for Life.
((((hugs)))) to all those who need/want one.
Had a fabulous weekend with DS and DD but spent too much money. They both needed new clothes though so it was unavoidable. Weather has been fantastic but means sleeping at night is becoming difficult. Didn't want to drag the huge floor-standing fan out just yet but think I will have to tonight.
W**k today then I need to get myself organised food wise. Freezer has loads in it but somehow I can't make a complete meal.I'm sure I will rustle something up.
Have a marvellous Monday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning All,
Sooo sleepy! Didn't sleep too well and my nose won't stop running! Finn wanted feeding at 4:50 which was ok since OH up at 5:00 anyway. Then Finn happily cat napped on the bed, or played by himself which was good, but every time I so nearly fell back asleep he decided he wanted feeding again and came and nuzzled my chin. He can be quite insistant! Then I had to be up before 7:00 to take over care of another kitten my neighbour caught at the local farm so the neighbour could go to work. This is a beautiful little tabby girl, a couple of weeks older than Finn, so probably about 8 or 9 weeks old, but sooo much more wary. I've had her out of the box with Finn, thinking that seeing another cat/kitten may calm her, but she just wants to hide. She's tucked up under my dressing gown as we speak! I've got to take her to the local vets soon - one of the girls from there has volunteered to foster and rehome her from there.
And must get a bath in really soon. The other neighbour is having the decorators in this week and they're repointing the wall outside so I've got to move my container plants or they'll get covered in cement dust. Plus I need to make sure the decorators don't massacre the grape vine that's growing up the house. The last time the outside was painted the 30 yr old vine was sawn through by the decorators and it's only just recovered.
Durrh wish I felt more lively and ready to take on the world.
Snowy - isn't it just the way ! They're out having fun and forgetting us at home!
Have a good day folks.0 -
:hello: Goooood Morning fellow OS'ers
Thank you joannasmum and twink for the good wishes for last Friday. I *think* it went well, but no idea yet of the result.
Snowy, glad Teddy found his way home safely. Now enjoy your week off to the full
Amie - enjoy your day out at Asda, sorry to read about your cabbages (aren't pigeons also known as "flying rats"? )
Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs N9eav :T Go steady on the wine
dogrose - keep focused on that night out and hopefully the week will fly by!
Cat - hope your headache shifts quickly, especially with such a house full. (You drinking plenty of fluids?)
PP - enjoy your drive out, hopefully it will take your mind off the soreness.
Kyle - I'm chuckling over the glasses
mrs mix - good luck to your ds1 with his exams today.
Hester - more fool your dh!!
dlb - sounds like you need to spend 5 mins sitting down and making a list and prioritising. Hope you manage to achieve all that you need to.
jet - wow! You have a very busy day ahead! Don't fret too much about your Dad at this stage - he's probably retreated into his "cave" to work things out in his own head/way
charlies mum - congrats on your first homegrown strawberries :T :T Don't they taste just GREAT!!??
Essex - good luck at the dentist.
tinkerbell - enjoy that patio set:T
Things at the gym are going well, gave myself a day off yesterday and caught up with some housework. Two exercise classes booked at the gym today, so I've got the BM working it's magic as I type, the washing machine is on - there'll be time to hang it out before I leave. Need to make up another batch of yogurt, not sure what went wrong with the last batch, but it seperated!! Waste not want not, used it in bread making
Between classes I shall scoot round to the shops to pick up some essentials (got the cool box in the car so I can store the shopping in there) then back for another class.
B: Porridge with cinnamon and apple
L: Tuna Salad PittaBaked sweet potato with hm coleslaw and green salad.
Tonight, while I'm relaxing, I have a bag load of old T-shirts that I want to cut into strips and roll into balls ready for the time I can focus on making them into a rug. I wasn't too impressed with the rug I made from carrier bags, so I'm hoping the Tshirts will work out better.
Anyway, ((hugs)) to all who want them and have a wonderful moneysaving Monday:wave:

scuzz - :T :T Well done on your RFL :T :T A friend of mine is doing one in July - she said she isn't running, but walking it and that is fine
annieb - do an inventory of the freezer ... it's amazing what some white sauce can turn into a 'meal' something which otherwise might be uninspiring
FBThree - fingers X'd for your vine! Maybe you could have a gentle word with them before they start?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good morning, everyone! Misty here, so it'll probably be roasting later :j
Had a great weekend - DH was home on Friday. Took the children to see Pirates, and DH and I went for a meal and a long chat.
On Saturday, DD and I went to the Farmers' market. We got details of a local farm which offers a *meat box* scheme - so will be ordering that later today. DH and DS went paintballing - lots of bruises
Was it just us, or was Dr Who one of the best yet. Really disturbing, and well done, we thought. Still can't work out whether the explanations regarding time travel hold together, though, makes my head ache
Yesterday, we went to see some friends and had a barbeque. She's from the Caribbean, so the barbeque was lovely and spicy, with delicious salads. They'd bought the huuuuuugest strawberries - looked like they were on steroids! Went on the *York Wheel* after that - great views of the city. Got home to find I was the winner in my first 2 eBay purchases :T - can't wait to receive them :j
Aim to get my jobs done this morning, so I can be in the garden later. Amie - in this weather the garden definitely takes priority over housework :T
Scuzz, well done on the Race :A
N9eav - Happy Anniversary.
Kyle, best of luck at the hospital.
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
