My kitchen has had a full level 3 clean; window frames have been wiped :eek:and the windows have been cleaned. Used a microfibre cloth :smileyhea:lovethoug:happyhearon them for the first time (usually use kitchen roll) I think I'm in lurve with MF- they are super-shiny!

Cupboard doors and worktops wiped. used teapot Wednesday - so have hidden it in the DW (I don't drink much tea and the Vallikids brew in the mug, usually):rotfl:

    Morning All

Still on holiday - should be back on Monday and then I've got loads to do before I start my new job the following Monday. Longer hours and further away so I'll have even less time to do stuff!

I have been flying at the caravan though and I've hoovered and tidied this morning. Going to sort out the dirty washing in a min and pack that away before my parents arrive tomorrow.

Hugs to all - there seems to be a lot of bad news.

    Morning (just!)

slept much better last night so I'm raring to go

OH wants to play a board game with me so I'll do that in a minute and then pop in the shower before I start my list

    LIST
Tidy spare room of doom (that could take quite some time as it's my general dumping ground and then I shut the door!!!!)

    then I will
    mark/finish sticking in work
tidy and sort the guff I brought home from school (was it 4 or 5 weeks ago?) and make a proper list of all the pre-schoool jobs I need to do
Sort out items to take back to work (going to pop in on Sunday or Monday-no builders to trip over then)
And my final big froggy finish hemming FILs curtain, done one just need to do the other one-only had them about 6 months!!!)

    Right off I go!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

FFP I am sorry to hear about FIL. I would let DD know gradually. We did that with our kids when their dear Mama was ill. It is heart breaking for kids to have no grandparents. Mine have none, all died relatively young. I feel for them as I had a much loved gran until I was nearly 40!

pigpen I hope cat doesn't have something really serious/expensive. When animals are ill it can really break the bank.

LW I hope they get your meds right. DH picked mine up last night and all was present and correct. I gave them a panic as when I ordered mine over tinternet I said one was urgent then forgot to add it to the list!!

Congratulations to all the Flykids, well done!

I didn't do much flying yesterday as when I wet to the allotment I did something to a muscle/tendon thingy in my chest. I tried to pull up a weed and something pinged with intense pain. I shouldn't be allowed out of my bedroom. I did some minor gentle flying.:o

ETA I was sitting down when I did the weeding!

Today I have worked out how to do things without too much pain. So I have stripped beds and WM is on. Mizzy morning but hoping it will warm and brighten up so DH can hang out washing when he gets in for lunch.

I went to 4ldi for food shopping with DD and pushed trolley round by leaning over it and using my stomach. Luckily didn't see anyone I knew. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Being crazy woman again.

DD lifted and packed all my shopping then on the way home went to get DH out of pub and told him to come straight home to unpack it all. He did! Immediately!

Trekked off to the town where DS2 goes to school to go to the library and wool shop :). Discovered on parking that my handbag had been left at home. Luckily the car park there is free for 2 hours so we managed the library. I now have no wool for my holidays. :(

Cat box retrieved from shed ready for the cat o'tel.

Post office and waxing later. Also collecting OH from work.

Now to find my listy x

Still haven't got as far as the kitchen :o

But, I have taken the big LR rug into the conservatory and cleaned it. Should dry quicker out there, then I'll vac it too :T

Then I thought I'd try my new loppers  front tree really cut back, small but leafy branches piled high. I'll never make a hairdresser :o its not a bad shape, but there's one bit I need help with (too high even for telescopic handle and I think it will need the saw attaching.

So, I "untelescoped" it and caught my finger <yeeooowwwch> not broken skin, but all puffed up with blood underneath.

    So I'm having a lie down :o:rotfl:

ETA oh and I read my meters, as lekky provider has reduced my DD from £51 to £25 / month - clearly I don't watch enough telly ;):p

I have washed up, put away the ironing done by OH, made and then eaten lunch and then the gas man came to do the yearly safety check so I haven't done much else!!

Off into the spare room NOW
