Did quite well for my first full dayalso put dd'd bedding in the wm and hung out to dry.
Put a chicken in the slow cooker at 6am, then lunch time realised i was going out for a friends birthday meal, so chicken is in fridge for today, and last night meal was free as the service was so awful!
Taking dd to swimming lesson this morning and then I'll come back and tackle the spare room  It's a tip at the minute, we've squeezed 2 bedrooms worth or stuff into one to make room for a nursery, so bedroom 3 is a playroom/dressing room! guaranteed to always be the messiest!

(it was supposed to say 'don't drink to much red or white wine but I missed out 'pas' and I'm not sure (je suis pas certainement;)) bouvee was 'le mot juste!' If Serena was still flying we would be fine!
In my defence I did fail French o-level, twice, which is irritating because I will always have a go! DD's friend is half-French, her mum speaks in French to her and I often understand enough to get the jist - she twigged on that I did when I raised an eyebrow when she swore in French:rotfl:
Anyway DD and neice have been taken to Blackpool. I have 3 loads on the line and a 4th in the WM and I have done the ironing.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I can understand most of what I hear, and have even been known to make phone calls in France, so I reckon mine is at O level standard. However, OH, who speaks not a word gets all the plaudits when we're over there. He says whatever he means - in English - with a French accent, shrugs Gallicly and they ADORE him.
Must fly ....Better is good enough.0 -

Just catching up with the Fred....
FFP so sorry to hear about FiL. I know nowt about children, but my feeling is you need to get your head round the situation yourself before you decide what to say to DD. Have a (((HUG))).
Piggers Hoping pudd'n-cat doesn't have evil C. Feel-well vibes on their way to the poor feline, anyway. Btw, I like Pickle for Delilah's nickname.;)
HB sorry to hear Mrs Dog still needs her Tramadol. Would it be possible to halve her dose to start with, rather than knock it off completely, when you do start to get her off it?:o
Not sure why I bothered vacuuming yesterday - the girls have tracked in a load more grass and other garden detritus. *rolls eyes*
I have Mr LW wfh today (early shift) - we have to pick up my meds this afternoon (some surgery-get-the-scripts-right vibes would be welcome, btw;)) and we shall take the girls for a walk before we go - Mr LW is going to help, he'll take Pandy, leaving just Patsy for me to deal with.:A
I have a list of tasks for the weekend, all needing Mr LW's assistance - and I see his jacket has mysteriously taken up residence on the green chair in the lounge. I think it's missing a button, so I guess I'll have to add replacing that to my list of Frogs.:cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
