OK, first and foremost, very best wishes to all getting GCSE results today. And well done to those who have them already.:ofunfairprincess wrote: »I'm not small I'm concentrated awesomeA flippin' cat has relieved itself ON MY CLEAN CARPET!
Fizzwizz lovely picture- your friend has real talent!:o
I had a weird dream last night - can't really remember any of it, but I do know Dustykitten was prominently featured.
Other than that, I had a rotten night - Mr LW received three texts at stupid o'clock (work related - he's the On Call bod this week) and then later he must've been dreaming because he kicked me really hard.:(
Flying-wise - I've managed a Dys0n Tango to remove the bits of lawn the girls track in on their furry little feet, as we have Mr LW's pal coming over tonight; and later I need to groom the girls - I've been asked to do them every other day to keep their coats nice - that'll take quite a while; they're both little fuzzballs, and Patsy thinks it's a good game trying to chew the comb.:D She also seems to think my wrist splints are a chew toy.:rotfl: I'll groom them after their walk, I think.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
DD2 very happy too, 1A, 1C, all the rest B's:jI am so pleased for her as she has been very unhappy at school this past year, off to college now :T Well Done to all the flylady kids, must get their brains from us eh?:D
Now there is calm in the house off to do some cleaning.
See you soon x0 -
Well done Flyteens x
Anyone fancy a HHC? as I'm achieving very little here.0 -
I'll join you Dancemum. I've got exactly half an hour before I have to go and collect OH. Things are positively turgid here and I'm having to drag myself around to clear up the muddles I've created by turning everything out in order to sort it ....Better is good enough.0

Sincere apologies for laughing out loud at that, Valli. 'Tis the Law of S0d out to get you.:o

I once had to share a bed with my Mum, when we were visiting relatives. I was probably 17/18. I (apparently) kicked her in the night - she complained in the morning and I remembered that I had dreamed I was kicking a drawer shut; so suggested it might have been that. THEN I got a telling off for -
'kicking drawers shut!'
I have cleaned out the gerbil and cleaned the cat litter tray,.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Congratulations to all the clever flykids.
I've had a 200 fling boogie without the music. My bedside drawers and bathroom cabinet are decluttered, defragged, dusted and done.
Otherwise I've cleaned the kids bathroom and our en-suite.
Still feeling taken for granted and very fed up.0 -
They don't make diamonds as big as bricks.;) (Yes, I am somewhat ...er... "vertically challenged".:rotfl:

Ha! Love it describes me perfectly

Was going to post earlier to let Piggers know I'm coming for 12 days this year for my hols ! But my SiL phoned to let me know that FiL is home from the hospital. He's been given 2 months to a year as there is nothing else they can do for him. I'm on a right downer now. I've broke the news to OH, SS and DS2. I can't get DS1 on the phone, he's in Ireland and I've decided not to tell DD. she's very close to her papa and I think it will be all too much for her.
So fly wise today I've cooked and put the washing in the utility room and that's been it. OH convinced me to go out and keep my nail appointment so I did that.
Off to crush some candyI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
well today I have mostly slept! awful night last night, body too hot, feet too cold, couldn't get comfy, got out of bed and watched iplayer for an hour, finally dropped off around 4ish, woken at 6.30 by a text from DD begging for a lift to work as she'd over slept so I got up to take her and then crashed back in bed, so I have only really de-cluttered some TV and cooked. I did walk down to the super market for some milk and bananas and a pill dispenser for OH
got home and realised it had 2x Monday and no Tuesday!!!!as the idea was to help him remember if he's taken his new pills I had to go back to get one with a Tuesday as well!!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
FFP.. so sorry to hear about fil. I'd tell DD tbh.. so she knows and will be less traumatised when the inevitable happens.. she has time to get used to the idea, ask questions and if she accidentally overhead someone speaking about it she won't feel left out or upset that you didn't tell her. Maybe give yourselves time to ingest the information then break it to her. Death is a part of life and preparing for our loved ones passing is part and parcel of growing up.. talking about it is healthy and stops people being scared to die and brings you closer as a family being able to find comfort and support from one another. ((((hugs))))
Vet thinks my big daft dopey puss has the evil C.... we get the biopsy results next week..
