The landing pile is almost gone; it's down to a box of junk and a London road atlas that has lived in OH's car(s) for 40 years, so it's just a tad out of date. Plus, neither of us enjoys driving, so why we would even think of taking the car to London is beyond me. I'll be in trouble if I make the decision unilaterally, so cue a long negotiation about one book. *sigh*

I now can't find my 3 tog duvet. Grr.

Mrs Dog sends regards to Bonnie and Lamewolf (and her lodgers).

Anyone else getting messages that say 'Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.'?

Thank you all I agree that DS2 isn't quite as "sharp" as I am, but he is thrilled to be immortalised in oils nonetheless. She has captured the moment so well, I don't even mind that she's included my [STRIKE]crow's feet[/STRIKE] laughter lines. As for the eyeshadow, that's definitely a happy accident as generally my makeup doesn't even match what I'm wearing, never mind my skids!

DS2 dotes on me, he is such a loving boy and saves at least 95% of that love all for me I asked him recently if he'd like it if me and OH could have a baby together (moot point as he is a Jaffa and I'm a barren old spinster :rotfl:) and his response was "no thank you Mummy, I like being your baby!"

Valli, sounds harsh, I hope you can take a deep breath and let your annoyance go. If not, you're welcome to a cider, or three xx
