FFP.. so sorry to hear about fil. I'd tell DD tbh.. so she knows and will be less traumatised when the inevitable happens.. she has time to get used to the idea, ask questions and if she accidentally overhead someone speaking about it she won't feel left out or upset that you didn't tell her. Maybe give yourselves time to ingest the information then break it to her. Death is a part of life and preparing for our loved ones passing is part and parcel of growing up.. talking about it is healthy and stops people being scared to die and brings you closer as a family being able to find comfort and support from one another. ((((hugs))))
thanks pal. She knows her papa isn't well but that's as far as she knows. I just don't want her to act differently with her papa and I'm scared that's what would happen if she knows. I can't stand the thought of breaking her wee heart my mum and dad died when i was in my teens and MiL passed when DD was just 1yr so he's the only grandparent she's known. She gets upset cause her pals have grannies and she doesn't. Once I've had a couple of days to take it in I may change my mind though!
Vet thinks my big daft dopey puss has the evil C.. :( .. we get the biopsy results next week.. :(

aww that's horrid hope its not. Lets hope the biopsy brings good news xxxx

Hugs for those who need them xx

Valli I did understand what what you said en francais, but I thought I'd see what g@@gle translate made of your post... here it is...

"Hi Dustee breakfast !!!!!

Happy holidays, but bouvee more red wine or white wine!
I am ready for the week! I have all the travails for women! GREAT and frogs to eat!"

I made DD jump by laughing suddenly and loudly

ETA: Ah, it didn't come out, the !!!!! word after breakfast is p*ssy .... petit-chatte... LOL

• Good evening :D

DS's birthday today (15) He hasn't had our present yet as he wanted a game that is released tomorrow, so we wrapped up some Jaffa cakes instead :p the game has been pre-ordered so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow (although I haven't had an email yet :()

Roast dinner cooked & eaten, half of the DR carpet, the LR rug & the hall carpet all vaxed. Sofa bed was picked up last night, so had a big space in the DR. I will do the rest of the DR & the LR next week.

I have a lady visiting me tomorrow morning at 9am about looking after her DD before & after school from September, so contract-signing vibes would be appreciated. All I need then is the 2 ladies to call back about the babies & I will be full (and, more importantly, earning again!!)

Ok. I am off to bed now, as we are all going to the beach tomorrow, so I will need to get up, run the hoover round (after waking up DS who is sleeping in the LR - don't ask!), make a picnic, talk to the new lady, welcome the girls, find the buckets & spades & make tomato soup (not necessarily in that order). I also need to pack as we are going camping at the weekend!

Night night all
