Thanks Tahlullah very wise words you are obviously well placed within the service perhaps we even know each other now that would be scary. My bureau is financially stable we can go three years if our local authority pulled all funding. We are not moving just remodelling the office its too small. Board meeting went well and AGM too I didn't mess anything up so that was good.

A long term member of staff has resigned (not one that was a problem) so have to recruit now. Worked until 6.15 tonight but got it all done manager had to leave but I got unexpected help from another new member of staff which was lovely. I fact I didn't mind at all I think I would love to do recruitment. Had a supervisors meeting and problem person was good as gold and so was the others. Manager away until Thursday so will be running the show myself.

DH is a pain in the bum to be honest he recents me working late and texting with my manager after hours. He goes to bed at 8ish every night. Really fed up with him wish he would get better. Really he needs to cut down totally on drinking I know he has cut down a lot but its not enough.

Anyway nice quiet evening to myself and at least I'm warm and dry unlike manager who is camper vanning with horrid husband. Going to watch Monty Don and go to bed. Golfing Sunday hope it driest out a bit.

  • Honey you sound a little fed up!

Enjoy your weekend; I hope it dries out enough for golf. I think I am going to find somewhere to take pooch for a walk as I don't think I have anything on during the day.

Thanks SSS I was a bit fed up I think it was just spending too long at work but today is. New day sun is shinning here and hopefully it is where you are too.

Checking my emails to see when our sideboard is being delivered. It still says 2nd Sep on the site but last email said 2nd Oct. however they did offer us £25 off but I never looked at the email. Just checked and its free delivery so ordered a folding tray table cost to me £4. It's really nice if anyone is looking at nice furniture with a Scandinavian twist check out made.com I have a £15 code off. Send me a PM if you want

Thanks for popping in Tilly hope its got sunnier as the day went on for you. Not done a lot today really, went out for breakfast (I know spending) then supermarket. Then off to set up flowers, chocolate and champers for friend coming back from honeymoon unfortunately DH put chocolate bottle in sun so it melted so back to shop to get new one. Delivered it all landlord not home so had to leave on doorstep and they are not back until Monday morning but should be ok I hope. Shame for the flowers really.

Volunteer back in hospital going to see her tomorrow as well s s playing wet golf then. Done some garden tidy up incl ditching a 20 year old Oleander I brought to the uk as a cutting. Taken a new cutting but DH felt sad about getting rid of big plant. Its wooden barrel had disintegrated and its so big it won't fit in greenhouse in the winter. Went to look at pots and he agree (finally) that a new bigger pot will take up so much room on the deck. Ended up getting held price pansies, soil and pots. Should have enough pansies now will grow them on a bit in greenhouse got 21 for £2.50 as 4 were dead. Not bad really.

MS paid out so still in the black payday 1 1/2 weeks away. Lying in bed doing nothing really ought to get up. Just been thinking how lucky I am that I have a job that I love, I learn a lot from and I have gained 2 close friends already and may even get more. What was I so scared off?

Wow, what beautiful cats! They look like a couple of characters. I am certain that if I say anything more complimentary about them, then Rufus would find out, get jealous and exact some sort of revenge when I am least expectinging it.

    Absolutely beautiful.
