After I posted yesterday £1.10 on chocolate but nothing today so far so my £52 are still intact but only pennies left in my purse.
No motivation today at work. Was all excited about my new leadership programme but the uncertainty of when the job will be advertised and the this jobs ends on the 4/7 do I really need to do this is not good.
I cannot ask for an update until after Wednesday as some interviews are taking place and someone will be made redundant so they will get the chance to apply. If they want to the process will speed up otherwise I think they will appoint in the Autumn which is silly as if they don't get me they will have to wait for the notice period as well and it will stall the restructure but maybe that is what they want.
Still onwards and upwards payday Wednesday and still hopeful I will achieve what I set out to do apart from I will have £250 on credit cards but they wont be due for a month so that's fine.
Thinking of starting my SO for my Zopa account again I do like seeing the loans going out and the interest being paid. Maybe just £50 a month I could easily do that as well as the £190. Will have a think.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Worth checking out Ratesetter as well for similar products to Zopa, but with better rates.0

Thanks Edingburgher will have a nose and look.
Cat food ordered message of neighbour they only have 5 tins left she recons they have been eaten more than 1 tin a day I don't mind. Its nice they are fattening up. Sadly they are clearing their bowls straight away now they never used to when they were fed twice a day they always grazed. Maybe they can go back to that again would be better at least they are fed. £34 on the credit card and also my £25 mobile bill came out so my current account is now £28 to last until Wednesday but I will do it.
Will treat myself to lunch today first time all week (used to do breakfast and lunch several times a week) so that is fine.
Got several bits to do today and one urgent bit of fiddly stats to count unfortunately one member of staff who I asked first thing yesterday to it and then chased later on has conveniently gone off sick today. She is leaving next month so doesn't matter but now I have to do it myself.
Found out one of the people in the property is leaving he brought the furniture so might need to get some bits for the lounge but not a lot as we can manage. He is never there and DG doesn't like him. He has arranged for his friends to move in a couple so another girl might help with the cleaning who knows. We are going to take over a bit more of the kitchen before they move in as although big people leave all their washing up on the draining board so there is no space for us. Still the joys of sharing but then you remember how little we pay and how much we can save.
Cant wait for this evening had enough of this week feels like I am working out my notice so hard to be motivated also when people are so down about the restructure doesn't help.Save £12k in 25 No 49

I've seen that before at other firms, it really drains everyone and the atmosphere ends up being miserable.
Good news on the flat - it means you can stake a bit more territory before the other couple move in!:D0 -
Thanks Bugslet it is draining indeed we are not actually in a flat it is a huge closed down day centre so actually loads of space and storage facilities and they will be right on the other side of the building so wont use our toilet thank god.
Ordered face cream from Boots £39 a lot but they last 3 months and help my skin so not switching I don't really use make up etc and only cheapo deodorants etc.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Lunch cost £8.50 felt sick after eating a small cake really must stay off carbs nice treat though.
One to one went well my new job will be advertised in June so no gap so that's good. My manager is amazing so lucky to work with her. Had two glasses of wine after work but DG got cross I didn't get home in time for golf. Not good but I think it also wound her up receiving abuse txt from old manager at prev job who is by now very much an ex friend. She was horrible to DG never mind onwards and upwards.
DG a bit annoyed with me so currently sitting in the garden whilst she watches TV might go to the shop in a min to buy sweets but neither of us have any change and they charge for card payments so good deterrent. Shop is attached to our building so not far but there is a Sainsbo a bit further up but I cannot be asked.
Should really water the garden never mind it will rain soonSave £12k in 25 No 49

Hungover today managed to get to the shop and cook lunch and just had early dinner plus done some washing. Waste of a day but going to hit some golf balls in a min den shower and for me early night. Golf tomorrow then DG has a golf lesson at 2pm.
Moved into some cupboards in the kitchen just need other chap to move out he's started packing and left all his crap everywhere so no one can use the work tops glad his going at least he wasn't here much.
Bought some snacks at Lidl spent £91 on full shop but we had run out of most things and also sought £25 of meat. We don't have a big oven so using two slowcookers to do sweet jacket potato which we then mix it with green beans and ham before sprinkling of cheese and they can then be frozen. Easy dinner for after gym and low carb.
I have put on 8 kilos since I lost all my weight mainly due to cakes and ice cream but also lattes. I want to loose it again at least I did gym three times last week.
Hope you're all relaxing on a Saturday. It's really hot a humid here need thunderstorm really.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Back at work and my finances look really sad roll on payday. Joint account is overdrawn (within overdraft) as we found nice fresh Danish ryebread at Tesco's so got 3 loafs for the freezer. It is expensive at £2.90 plus we wanted toppings for Danish lunch but its low in carbs and easy dinner during the week. make 60 slices so not bad really will last ages. Had £3 off £30 spent £39.
Also needed to pay cleaner the extra £10 a week for looking after my cats so as it started in June I thought I might as well pay July so £90 and I am now £60 overdrawn but in free overdraft. Also credit cards are now £250 that is £150 more than I wanted it to be but couldn't be helped with cat food etc needed.
I don't actually think I spent any money at the weekend. Took picnic (fresh ryebread sandwiches) to eat before golf and used our range card for balls so free also took our own drinks. The place only has a Costa Coffee and they don't take the Costa Club card so cant earn or spend points plus the food is boring only sandwiches and expensive plus DG doesn't drink coffee.
Payday is Wednesday so not long really.
Work will be busy this week need to get on top of things and make sure I can had it all over in good nick on the 4/7.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Pay day tomorrow bring it on much needed looking quite sad compared to what I set out to achieve this month but better than normal I must say.
This was my goals:
Goals until next payday 15th June:- Credit cards to have a 0 balance by pay day (e.g. be paid off using Mays wages so start with clean slate for June)
- Set up S/O for £190 for savings for holidays (just bought my flights home so can start in June)
- No gambling
Current acc -£74 (cleaner June & July for cat sitting)
Credit card 1 £230 (£150 on cat food)
Credit card 2 £140 (travel card only)
So when you look at it its not actually that bad more unexpected expenses than me going mad on lunches and having a good time. I did achieve 2 & 3 100% so pleased with that.
For June's wages these are the goals:- £190 paid into new pot for holidays and presents
- Sweep excess money into savings before payday (might need to adjust date for this)
- £0 balance on both credit cards by July payday
- No gambling
- Be up to date with my studies & have applied for new job
DG owes me £100 for flights home if I had had that this month the above wouldn't have been quite so bad. Also owed £25 in expenses.
Work a bit boring but lots to do so best crack on with it.Save £12k in 25 No 49
