I don't think you are paid enough TG, it always sounds like wall to wall hassle for you:(, between clients, systems and managers!

Hope you caught up with your sleep.

Thank you Bugslet my job really isn't all bad I am learning so much and it is actually very useful for my carreer if I choose to move on.

Today has been better manager still awful but apologised and explained it was family coming over that was mainly to blame. Also I challenged her on something I know a lot about and she thought I was just being difficult. We sorted it all out and I promised to help out as I don't want it to harm my side of things e.g annoy the volunteers.

Best news today was one of my volunteers got a proper full time just she is 27 Uni graduate but never had a proper job and been out of work for four years. Volunteering with us and having a three month short term contract with us has definitely help. She told me it was past closing date for the job but one of my other volunteers had brought it to her attention and even called up and pretended to be her mum saying they should email her the details for the which they did. I am so pleased she will be great in that job.

Been out for dinner with FIL now just going to watch for the love of dogs. Hopefully catch up on some more sleep. And it's a long weekend.

Bugslet have you seen they are stopping the passenger ferry from Harwich Esbjerg it's a real shame expensive but good way to travel if you needed the car.

Been a good weekend Friday went out with friend from work without manager I was just having one but friend from old world let me know I have to wait an extra week for our exam results and she also found an advert for me old job. Well Saturday was a bit of a write off but got lots of gardening done Sunday and played golf today plus washed the car.

Garden looks lovely only thing I need to so is sow some seeds so might do that in a minute. Need to find them all first.

Did a trip to Ikea Saturday rye flour isn't perfect but better than Lidl. Got enough now for lunches and made banana cake as well.

Only four days of work which is fab, then sunday night in a hotel before conference Mon & Tues. Busy but all good.

Hope you all enjoyed your bank holiday

Aw poor you, but there's no point spreading things around to the rest of the staff and making yourself feel worse as well. Are you going to make the conference do you think?

I hadn't seen about the passenger ferry, though if it doesn't carry a big truck, I tend not to notice them:o

I'm happy, just booked a week away in Jersey. Various girlfriends popping by here and there, might end up with some days on my own, which doesn't bother me. I've seen Jeersey many times before, so it'll be nice not to have to go anywhere and just chill.

Yes I shall make the conference I feel slightly better still not myself must be my age making me feel so ill. Feel very old today.

Dread going in tomorrow will have loads of emails and won't then be in until Thursday as we have an away day Wednesday. Manager freaked out over an incident last night which I think was nothing but she's convinced the horrid paid member of staff is undermining us again. Still wil find out tomorrow.

The ferry I'm talking about is the dfds one and yep it carries trucks too which is why I thought of you Bugslet. Jersey is lovely I'm sure you will have a nice time, good to just chill when you have a hectic day to day life.

A bit broke this month and payday is a long way away so might have to use credit cards for a while. Could really do with a new dress for the do on Monday night but I won't will have to look in the loft and see if I can find a dress that's not too formal and not too casual. Tricky isn't it finding the right balance as you don't want to look overdressed or underdressed.

Anyway got chicken cooking for dinner just lying on the bed trying to get the energy to get up which I can't at the moment. Oh I hate being ill.

Hope the conference is going well.

Just had the DFDS rep in on his annual visit. Apparently passenger freight felt to 90,000 from the previous years figures of 300,000 Quite a big drop. On top of that, which I already knew about, is that to meet the latest environmental regulations, they have to retrofit or refurb ships: DFDS have spent over a 100 million on the upgrades and unsurprisingly have had to look closely at what boats they wish to upgrade.

Just thought you might like the news form the horses mouth!

Thanks Bugslet ref DFDS that's what I heard but paying £600 for two people and a car when it's £200 to fly means they cannot compete.

I am not doing that well been suffering with this cold since Bank Holiday Monday and still not well. Away day at work yesterday was hard as I'm still not feeling well but at least I should be able to catch up today.

Conference was good lovely to see all my contacts again and looking at my old life with my new life and friends around me felt very good and definitely no going back. Old life people were all nice and I feel in a good place.

Exam results today already checked student emails but nothing yet. Should be this afternoon hopefully.

Feel so rubbish cannot wait to feel well again.
