You sound really contented TG:D. I'm really pleased that your hard work job was worth it to you.

    Have a good weekend

Thanks xcarlyx and Bugslet for popping in yes I have been a lot happier in the last few weeks seems like things are settling down a bit more. Saw a job somewhere I did go for an interview before I took this one it's £45k a year but it's working in London and travelling the whole country. I could do it but really really don't want to so its nice that although I know I can so better in monetary term than my current job I don't really want to so I must be content.

Weekend nice, had nice time with friend golfing Friday DH came too, we then sat in the garden until 1am and it started raining. I don't know her that well as it's usually the three of us together but she is starting to open up a bit more and so am I. She's coming camping next weekend and I am dreading it a bit less now she is not as much of a diva as she makes out.

Shouldn't need to do studpid hours at work this week but must get my smear test booked in plus vets for both boys. Today will be busy as we are short of volunteers but have got two supervisors and I am interviewing another potential one. I have survived two weeks of supervising the advice session and actually enjoyed it but look forward to doing a bit less of it.

Anyway must get up DH has got man flu and I need to sort lunch out for work.

Ah the joy of man flu - obviously we women would get up, organise the days requirements, run a hoover round the house and still be out of the door and off to work by 07.00;) Men need to rest:p

Yep, if you can do a job you like and not worry too much about the finances, it beats having to work for money and not enjoy it. Mostly I still enjoy work, some days I could cheerfully kill a customer, but usually its varied enough and at least being my own boss, I can wander off here and there without anyone wodnering where I've gone to.

Wow where did the time go sorry I have not posted for ages.

Had a fantastic time camping the weather was fab and the company brilliant even with the friend we thought would really struggle.

Work ok but busy even having the supervisor back wasn't that great as she's moaning so much. Other supervisor off sick now for a week at least so will now have to so her job but she's so organised it will be fine.

Just spent £100 on clothes in the long tall sally online sale, don't have enough work tops and my weekend is so golflike I need a change.

Got a works do so bought new shorts stone colour, white camitop and a orange large lace type top. Bit different from what I usually wear.

Garden producing lovely fruit and veg DH not the greatest at watering he will water but only for a short time so think I have lost some sweet peas it's ok. Dahlias are looking great.

Went to the gym last night with friends we are doing a six week diet and fitness course. Will take more than six weeks as we can't so all the weeks holidays in between. I ache a bit but I'm sure the other two will be much worse. £75 is cheaper than I pay for my one to one sessions so very happy.

Anyway need to think about getting up great that it's payday tomorrow.

Getting up! Good grief, I get in work about 6.30 - OK, so I walk the hounds for about 45 minutes first:o.

Whilst being a 5* girl, camping when the weather is good is OK - where was it you went to?

I do like dahlias, apart from the inevitable earwig infestation that accompanies them.

A freind of mine did an 8 week course, sounds similar to your 6 week one and it was very good and she looks terrific!

Had a good weekend myself in Milton Keynes, a mix of a friends 40th wedding anniversary and my 50th:eek:. How did that happen?!?

Hi Bugslet sorry I've been missing in action for a while lots of stuff going on.

Camping was fab in Dorset the friend of my managers was lovely really nice so that was a big plus.

Garden still doing great guns peas finished for the moment so sown some new ones but still have lots of things. Greenhouse doing well cucumbers and a pepper in there.

Work has gone a bit off track two complaints have surfaced one we have dealt with the other could be insurance claim. The led to us looking as one of the case workers work she's not in s good place due to some personal circumstances but my god her work is not good either at the moment. Had to send it to be evaluated and waiting on verdict. She's had a week off so although I got my training supervisor back I'm now doing the case workers job and looking after the newer case worker who is trying to pick up the slack.

Finally the other friend and I are getting to know each other really well just the two of us. She knows my manager better than me and knows my work so it's quite nice to have someone sounds off with. It's hard to be stuck in all the work stuff and also as manager gets so emotional it's draining on me. I shall switch off a bit more definitely and just get on with work.

Six week course at gym going well third session tonight nice to go with friends. Enough waffle just one final thing got an iPhone 5c.

Unlimited call and txt and 2gb g4 £23.99 a month 24 months should have been £129 up front for phone but thanks to code on here nothing plus £45 tracked on Quidco.

Used some isa money to pay for clothes and a credit card that had built up. Bad I know but you have to live as well.

Hello love the iPhone just about set it all up but nice to have to worry about running out of credit. Must make sure I know how to turn it off and just use wifi over there.

Work has been difficult still doing the case workers job as she's now been suspended and is not coming back before her leave. She won't loose her job not enough evidence so it will be close monitoring which will be done my me hopefully with help from others. Not looking forward to that but at least I can get back into money and housing advice.

Been messy to say the least and reminded me about friendships and working together. Think manager and I are just about ok still even after that.

Looking forward to going on holiday three days left at work.

Diet going well and all three of us are sticking to it.

Hope all is well in your lives and those mortgages are coming done.

Thanks ATT for giving me a nudge I have been reading but go out of the habit of posting.

I'm ok very busy at work and things are difficult as caseworker is now back and the board pulled out of doing anything about taking it to a disciplinary. I am having to case check everything to does I have done it for three weeks whilst manager has been on leave. Paid supervisor has gone sick with depression so have to do her job too. It's hard but I am learning a lot.

Manager is not coping very well I try to support her but it's hard. Chair has said to me that my friendship with her is a concern and that made me cross as I have never let it affect my work.

Finished the six week course at gym and lost quite a bit of weight but more changed my shape. I can fit my clothes so much better and I don't miss pasta, white bread etc. My friend who is the volunteer at the bureau has been great at keeping me sane whilst at work. We text and chat as well as go to the gym just the two of us as my manager has been away. Unfortunately manager and friend now feel pushed out and jealous of the two of us. Really stupid as she's been away and she spends lots of time with other friends. I need to sort it out as I cannot afford it to affect work as things are.

Anyway this is getting utterly boring to read about so will stop now. DH is off for his blodtest so doctors appointment too. I will go with him for sure as he can still be bad.

Cats are lovely as always and I am still eating veg out of the garden saving lots of money.
