I passed very pleased and nice to not have to think about anymore my friend passed too.
Had a quiet celebrate with friends from work Friday but only had one glass of wine and drove them all home.
Still not feeling right I'm ok if I take cough medicin every four hours but I think it's going to my ears now so need to book a dr app as it's been two weeks tomorrow since I got it.
Really wanted to play golf this weekend but not up to it but have done some gardening and a lot of chilling. DH has been ok but he is suffering from the same as me.
So there we are one fed up tallgirl who has at least passed the exam.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Thanks both of you I'm on hold to the surgery as I type. I'm feeling better but still not right been sleeping a lot all weekend. Also my ears don't feel right.
So a new week new challenges nothing too bad actually but need to up the anti not done as much as I should as under the weather. Got an appraisal with one of my favorite supervisors. Hopefully I will make that and also get DR appointment.
Just got through someone will call me on the triage. Never done that before (well I never visit the dr for myself) but hopefully something can be sorted. Off to work I go then.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hope you get your doctors appointment.
Apart from the ear problems I currently have, I have previously had quite muffled ears after a cold, so I do sympathise.
Hope you get sorted soonEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I did get one today basically it's the cold that's going around everywhere and it takes three weeks to clear. I haven't got an ear infection it's the mucus pressing on my ears and that takes six weeks to clear.
Basically she gave me a prescription for antibiotics to be taken in one week if I don't feel any better. They had no records of me being allergic to antibiotics but it could be worse if i take it again. She did suggest using Vicks crystal in water to inhale. Wow they are strong
Goldiegirl ear pain is horrible I hope yours get sorted.
Weird day at work no clients for two hours then they all came in did get most of what I wanted done so that was good.
Got a lovely card from friend congratulating me on my exam I can now put MIMA Cert after my name.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Starting to feel better without the antibiotics so right choice for sure. Cancelled gym tonight still not that well and would rather build up again than go in after three weeks of nothing.
Bit of an unpleasant meeting at work someone felt I was picking on her bu it was something that had to be dealt with unfortunately the manager and I were both in the meeting so maybe it odd seem two against one. Think it been sorted this one doesn't seem to bear grudges.
Celebrated out tenth wedding aniversary DH remembered to get a card, he bought a bottle of Cava and we had dinner at the fancy Mill near us. Really nice but £47 for two mains, two glasses of wine a pint of bitter and two Irish coffees a bit different form Weatherspoons.
So broke this month payday on Wedensday but I am £80 from my overdraft limit I am sure I can do it and I will be more frugal next month.
BIL and SIL coming next week for a couple of weeks they are staying with FIL he has invited us to the theatre next weeks which is nice. Going to try and organise something so my work mates get to go out with them I think that could be fun.
Anyway still early going to read my book for a while it's Liza Marklund Swedish author Nora's book I don't think it's been translated yet.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Happy Anniversary TG and TB
. 10 years is worth splashing out on.
Good to hear you are managing without antibiotics, I always think it helps to reduce use where possible.
How is the mortgage doing BTW? we never hear it mentioned:p.
Mine dipped below 40k this month. I overpay by £150.00 per month - not a massive amount but it's a fine balance between living a life and trying to pay it off!0 -
Hi Bugslet you never hear about my mortgage because I longer longer have one. I was founder member of the first mortgage free in three and cleared it nine years early I think I was 39 at the time. Main reason we managed it was that I got that sales job earning decent money and we also went to an off set mortgage very early on.
I loved seeing the balances go down and kept a diary on here of course that was a lot more money related than this one. I really should be on the savings board but that would be fraud as I am not really Saving now with this lower paid job but I like it on the MFW board so hope people don't mind me sticking around and only occasionally positing something money related.Save £12k in 25 No 49

I agree, it is a fine line between living life and becoming a hermit and paying it off in a couple of years. I am certain that if I decided to live on gruel and give up communicating with the outside world, I could pay mine off quicker than I am currently doing. But like you, I would prefer to have a life. It would be awful to be mortgage free and to regret all the things you missed out on as a result.Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.
