Congratulations on the pay rise. What a lovely suprise for you.

Do you know what is likely to happen re the shortfall you mentioned previously in the orgs budget? Did your manager find another income stream to plug the gap?

It was a nice surprise and much appreciated. There are plans in place cantering around a new outreach in partnership with a community centre and a bid for a five year funding stream.

If not there will be redundancies fortunately I'm not in the mix. Actually if I was I wouldn't worry as I know I could get another job. Will happen in October so quite sometime.

Meeting today was good and I learned a lot but welfare benefits are never going to be my passion it's fimly in housing and debt.

Saw a friend after work in her new house she is splitting up from her long term boyfriend. Lovely place but a lot of work to do. She loved my present two large planters for her cute court yard garden.

Off now until Monday as I'm playing golf with my golfing girlies. Still need to pack but not leaving until tomorrow.

Got this funny link of twitter it's so spot on apart from one. Hope this works

That link really may be for those in the know! Truly not funny, but obviously means something to you as a Dane!

Enjoy the golf and the time off. We get so little of it and never use it wisely when we do.

Maybe funny was the wrong word to use they are just very true, like the one about please my husband seriously find my family so so rude because they say close the door (my mums house is really old and drafty)

Also the swedes and the Danes have the same banter between them as the Scots and the English when there is a football match on.

The flag thing is just the Danes are mad about their flag it is on everything and honestly most people do have a flag pole. When I could go on but I won't.

That must be quite something to know that you can find employment if the worst came. Nobody would have me;)

Really no please in Danish, OMG, I'm with your DH on that one; even if you know it's not rude, decades of cultural conditioning would not disappear instantly.

Sorry I've been neglecting you TG, the nightmare ferry situation continues. Denmark is getting mentioned a lot - you would be entertained by us Brits mangling the pronunciation of Esbjerg:p

Bugslet thanks for popping in I can't quite remember why you are having nightmareswith the ferry but I know we have discussed Dana Sirena before and how small and expensive it is.

I might sound over confident when I say I could get another job but there is a huge shortage of trained people willing to work for the low wages and short contracts the CABx are able to offer.

Weekend away was good lovely to spend time with golfing ladies some which I have know almost twenty years. Mind you I am actually not the close to them.

DH drunk when I got home just after 2pm he was suppose to have lunch at 12.30 with his dad but he didn't show. Not sure what happened and he didn't play golf yesterday but he won't tell me why.na bit fed up but no point in talking to him now. I don't think he has drunk loads more a case of not eating.

Busy week at work tomorrow audit part two on Friday.

Also got to catch up as not been in work since Wednesday.

I know I have only just been paid but I am so broke wine was £22.60 at hotel only had two bottles over the whole Fri-Sun. One lady bought a glass of Savion a Blanc for £12 she thought that was the price for a whole bottle. Scary stuff.

I move explosives and the ferry between France and Uk that took the stuff is no longer plying her trade, so it's either Cuxhaven or Esbjerg, but Cuxhaven don't take large quantities, so Esbjerg is the port du jour! Sorry you asked now, aren't you:p.

Why are there short contracts? CAB seem to be around all the years I've lived, so why can't they do long contracts, or is that specific to your area of expertise?

Is it too bad about DH? He's been behaving for some time now:T

Exactly as Tahlullah explained in her post sadly all to do with funding
Is it too bad about DH? He's been behaving for some time now:T
Yes he has been good for while and he did apologise for yesterday and today he has been fine.

Crap day at work so so busy short of one supervisor so I had to do it which meant no catching up on my two days worth of emails despite coming in early and going late. Well there is always tomorrow. Also had to deal with clients one of which really did my head in.

Almost had two beers but stopped at one now drinking homemade rhubarb cordial really nice and from the garden.

Watching storage hunters on Dave just about able to follow that trash as I am so tired.

Evening just had a lovely long conversation with my sister I really don't speak to her often enough and it's free on Skype so stupid really.

Work was so busy at a launch event for our lottery funded project then had to show a colleague from another bureau of to use our Crm system then manager wanted me so by about 4.45pm I got to so some of my work. Email then pops in from manager now sitting in the main office, don't forget you need to do this. I nearly wrote something sarcastic back but in the end just said do you want me to stay late and do it. No she didnt just reminding me. Not sure what that was all about as we have a 48 hour time limit on this type of work and it was less than 6 hours old. Never mind she is getting seriously stressed out again.

Gym really hard tonight as I hadn't eaten properly for lunch but now have two weeks off which is good as long as I still go up there.

Going to go to bed in a minute as I didn't sleep that well last night.

I don't think you are paid enough TG, it always sounds like wall to wall hassle for you:(, between clients, systems and managers!

Hope you caught up with your sleep.
