Forgot to add DH is off playing golf today so have the house to myself for at least 4 hours. Things I want to get done incl

Put the garden into winter mode incl taking all furniture away incl cushions also get rid of dead veg in boarders and pack canes etc away. Greenhouse is done so can put things in there.

Also need to sort out Credit cards check when they need to be paid and how much as they have taken a beating lately.

Put summer clothes in the loft so my wardrobe works better also check for things that are now too big and look at prev too small clothes as it might now fit.

I think that will do for today.

Right been really productive so here is an update

Put the garden into winter mode incl taking all furniture away incl cushions also get rid of dead veg in boarders and pack canes etc away. Greenhouse is done so can put things in there. All done except put one table, two chairs and the fire pit away.

Also need to sort out Credit cards check when they need to be paid and how much as they have taken a beating lately. One paid next one not due until Nov so can wait until Weds when its payday

Put summer clothes in the loft so my wardrobe works better also check for things that are now too big and look at prev too small clothes as it might now fit. Found two lovely skirts perfect for work in my old stash also realised a very suit like dress fits me like a glove. Not sure its me though quite formal but good for power dressing I guess. Found a 20 year old skirt from M&S size 14 I think not or sizes have got bigger over the years its poss just about a 12

Also managed to read the meter and check MSE energy club thing to see if I should switch. My deal runs out in Feb 15 and top three companies doesn't sound good. I will wait until Feb arrives.

Also listed 8 items on Ebay, all clothes all bar one brand new never worn but too late to take back. I don't think it will raise much but will help toward that xmas dress.

DH has been out all day playing golf the men beat the ladies 11 1/2 to 1 1/2 oh dear.

woo hoo on the diert, well done. I think sizes have got bigger and yes if it says 14, it would be a 12 now. Ah, it's only a label!

Yes only a label. The size 12 trousers are still too tight so a bit to go. Had a chat with friend from work (she stayed over Friday) while our third friend was txt us (she's away) and ended up sending looking at fat photos. I haven't been slim since 2008 which is when I got the travelling job. Chocking also found a swimsuit photo from Xmas 12 really horrible.

Work is still a bit grim with HR issues but more managers problem than mine. Had an issue with a client and it could all have been avoided if horrid staff member had done what she should have done in the first place.

Going to a conference overnight on Monday with manager work is now paying for hotel yeah nice one. A bit of shopping coming up too. Still need shoes, tights and jewellery for Xmas ball. Dress if I haven't mentioned IT is £20 from EBay friends is £13 from EBay.

    Bargain

Meeting friend for lunch she forgot some shopping in my car yesterday. Need to cook a big batch of curry did carrot soup yesterday. Also want to make parsnip soup today.

Think that's enough update. Money wise not doing anything different but sorted DH birthday presents out.

Trip to Bristol was fab really enjoyed it lots of networking with contact form that part of the world I used to know in my old job.

Found dress for friend and shoes for me. Argument over free postage on shoes won so £3.95 refund I do like to fight. Found friends dress £26 cheaper the next day luckily she didn't buy it in Bristol. While looking at it I found one for me down from £130 for £72. It's wine red and lovely.

DH had a melt down last Friday at 11.30pm as I had my friends back here after gym and he claimed we were being deliberately noisy. We weren't but he goes to bed so early. Next doctors is Tuesday and I sm going with him.

More shopping going on now got three trips planned. Home to se the family in 16 days and also stop of one nigth in Copenhagen with friend from work (not manager).

Three night to visit my uncle outside Malaga for three nights in January. He is paying hotel and I bagged the £1 airmiles/avios flights. Was going to Easyjet at £75 so a saving and no worries about luggage with BA.

Final trip is the most exiting end of February flying to Oman to see old neighbour but stopover for two nights inDubai she's meeting me there then onto Oman for the rest of the week. Flight £439 less than last time as I am flying via Dubai but on the way back it's only a 3 1/2 hour stopover so not that bad. I cannot wait to see my friend.

So some money spend but actually really cheap holidays lucky to have family and friends in cool places. Will need expensive taxi inMalaga but don't want to drive in the mountains and don't need a car while we are there.

Work is not too bad horrid member of staff is behaving herself but manager still not good and handling things. Thought there was a poss change workwise for the better we shall see.

Need a shower and to head out take care all

You are doing well on the clothes savings, good old avios ( must plan to do something with mine).

Enjoy your trip back to see family. Denmark ferry causing me more problems now Harwich has closed, I seem to spending too much money flying drivers across there now as there is only 12 driver spaces on the ferry.

Sorry not popped by earlier - been manic at work and will be until Christmas now - I can see weekend working happening to try and catch up.

Gosh it's been a while since I posted oh dear indeed but firstly a Merry Christmas to you all I don't feel that Christmassy today as I had my Christmas yesterday on Christmas Eve as us Danes do. Thought I was going to miss my family dreadfully but spoke to them three times incl on Skype and saw them all which was really nice and it was nice here with my FIL, BIl and his girlfriend cooked traditional Danish food.

So what has happened in the last month will quite a lot actually.
Work I'm still there we may have an opportunity to merge with another bureau which could mean an opportunity to run bigger projects and bid for funding however they are resistant and my mananger would not be able to run two without a merger as the workload would double and impact on me ofcourse as the deputy. We are doing some planning on Tuesday for it and making a recommendation to the board that's all we can do. Could work out well for me career wise so I'm all up for it.
Went to Denmark in early Dec with friend from work (not mananger) and it was a really good trip I got to see the family and show her my country. I do spend a lot of time with her and we do the gym together so naturally we have become quite close. Too close possibly but we have a lot in common and are both not 100% happy at home.

DH is no worse or no better and the memory loss is beginning to get to me. Dr won't do anything until the drinking is gone and he doesn't think there really is an issue. I think we have grown apart for sure and the closeness we had where we could talk about anything and everything is gone. He is just not interested and I'm not interested in what he has to say. Sad I know but breaking up is too big so will trundle along as we are for now he does not see there is anything wrong anyway.
Cats are still lovely gives me such pleasure everyday.
Weight wise I'm doing really well thanks for friend insisting we go to the gym three times as week and we still work out with PT. I started a size 16 in Spring 14 and I'm now a 12. Only lost 10 kilo but my shape is just as I want it so really pleased with that.

Today we are going to my FILs house so need to get up have breakfast and head over there for 11am

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas Day.

Break over going to work today and then off until Friday so can't complain. Dh still a pain drinking too much but apologised so that is at least something.

Did some banking yesterday expensive month so credit cards can't be paid off this month one is £800 the other £1200 so paid £500 off them jointly have my first direct monthly saver maturing next month so that will clear them. DH is going overdrawn again I know cigarettes are expensive so is beer but without a mortgage you would have thought we could do better. Going to think up a plan for food shopping next year I'm sure it can be done want to get back to bulk shopping in Makro and also using Lidl a lot more. Spent £1.20 on three onions and £2.50 on small bag of peas (tiny) in M&S petrol station just because I couldn't be bothered to drive that bit further to Sainsburys.

Still getting closer to friend she is actually really nice but yes very different, strange to go in and see third friend today she doesn't know we have been spending time over Xmas. Really shouldn't matter but toxic triangle could happen.

Planning how we can merge two bureaux today, if it comes up I will definitely stay longer with CAB if it doesn't I need to move on at some point when I have enough experience. Need to earn descent money again as I'm still thinking about going solo from DH.

Still enough waffle from me might even start a new diary in the new year.
