Aaaah they are gorgeous:)
Mr Bugs and I never used to buy each other birthday or Christmas presents, just take each other out. Bless him , he did try but always ended up with something I would never use/wear/be seen with:o.
Is the new local going to be a bit of a distraction for TallBoy?0 -
The boys are looking super gorgeous, they have grown into very fine specimens.0

Bugslet I agree on your Christmas ideas we tend to do that for birthdays I went to see Warhorse and I'm giving Tallboy ( made me laugh as he's more grumpy old tall man tonight) golf lessons for Christmas.
He hasn't done too badly for Christmas last year we gave small presents as were had that expensive safari break in South Africa but year before I got my IPad.
Vandafc I'm glad you think the boys look nice we love them to bits. They are about 5.5 kilo each large for normal cats but small I think for Maine Coons. Can't believe its two years since Jack went missing.
MAde the gym tonight work was ok as manager didn't go to London. Got a few frogs to sort out at work I'm not looking forward too and I have three meetings on Wednesday. Sold one item on EBay already.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Just about survived Wednesday had double booked myself so I ended up with four meetings but got it all done and had a good session with my new personal trainer.
Spoke to sister last night she wants me to order an IPad cover but it's sold out at £13.99 and the ones where you can pre order want £11.99 but want £8.99 postage. I am going to wait as I want one too and it's silly to pay that much postage and mine is out of stock anyway.
Booked hotel for posh do in London, £33 each so quite good and I use the free night I had. Trying to organise a night out in my town but getting all four together is impossible so think it will end up just being the three of us which is fine by me. Got a flurry of text about it from manager last night but went to bed before I got a date.
Had a nice meal with old colleague on Tuesday nice to see her again she is splitting up with her long term partner and is buying her own house. Some of the stuff she was telling me about how she made the decision rang true with me I don't think I am there just yet DH is behaving himself even if he did buy a bottle of wine last night it was for dinner and he only had one glass.
It's his birthday today so I need to get off work early to cook roast dinner for FIL. Also finally got probate now we just need to get the money out not sure how to go about it. BIL has the account numbers I think there are two banks.
Will try to make it in early to work as supervisor is on leave and I don't think I have any volunteer supervisors in until this afternoon so I will get no work done and I have to supervise but it will be good practise.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Gosh that weekend has gone quickly long week it was though too. Is getting harder at work but I think I am just about coping. Job advert ends Monday and so far only one unsuitable candidate I really hope this other person applies or we are back to square one.
My trainees are doing well I have 29 not all having to have my time spent on them though. Training a newer lot tomorrow on IT and the next lot on another. IT programme on Friday. Dread that a bit as I haven't had time to prepare properly. Got a meeting to go to Tuesday I shouldn't really go to but paid supervisor doesn't want to go and I don't think its fair to ask a volunteer to go.
Anyway back to this weekend. Played golf yesterday in a team and I didn't play well think I worked out what I was doing wrong and it was nice to be outside in the sunshine. New club not that great yet, shoes fab and newish sweater kept me toasty.
Quotes for 1 glass roof panel to fix greenhouse £45 or £51 manufacturer said max £20 but they are not local and postage would be silly no doubt. Might just order it as I cannot keep on with a hole in the roof.
Need to get some more plants in there and tidy up the garden for winter. Meeting a friend today for brunch (the one I go camping with) friend from work and manager aren't coming as they think 10.30 is too early for a Sunday. Will take her some plants as she is a keen gardener her garden is right by the sea and very small.
Also need to do a bit of printing and sort out the item I sold on EBay. It's going to Rusia never posted there before. I hope it's ok need an envelope though. Final item didn't sell it wasn't that expensive so I think after fees I will have got £30 towards the £50 I spent on that Christmas kit but I am using a lot of the items from the kit myself.
DH is still overdrawn in the bank even after putting the cheque for the shares in. I am paying my fair share of food and going out so not sure what he is spending it on. He did admit to going to the new pub on his own on Friday. He also needs to claim three months expenses which will help. It's two steps forward three steps back with him. Must make that doctors appointment with him this week for when he has had his blood test.
I think that is enough waffle from me, my account is looking healthly Barclay Card down to £1200 and the is £300 on the CC I pay off every month so that is an improvement. Payday not that far away and I am owed two months expenses plus £33 for the hotel in London.Save £12k in 25 No 49

I'd ask about the postage/delivery, it might turn out to be a nice surprise.
I've never sold anything on Ebay - looked it once and decided it was far too much like hard work!
How worried are you about what he is spending the money on? I saw your comments from when you went out with the friend who split up from her long-term partner, I hope you can resolve things, but trust is a pretty important part of a relationship - without it, it's very difficult to make things work and not feel that you are putting more in than he is.
I had a nice weekend at a retirment meal for a couple of my customers - wish they were staying on, new chap not so accommodating.0 -

Must do that not got around to it yet thanksI've never sold anything on Ebay - looked it once and decided it was far too much like hard work!
It can be quite good selling on EBay but only for branded products and I tried buy it now this time and it was much easier no more selling for 99p. I raised £30 in total after fees with one item not selling. How worried are you about what he is spending the money on? I do trust him I don't know what he is spending the money on it may just be normal living as remember I used to have a free car and mobile and now I pay for that myself with a £500 a month reduced salary. He has proably been paying more than his fair share and with not claiming expenses and going out for dinner more I think that explains it.I had a nice weekend at a retirment meal for a couple of my customers - wish they were staying on, new chap not so accommodating
Hope you get some other nice new customers, .
Short listed for job yesterday we got the person we wanted to apply and she does sound very good. She has worked there before so I think it will all work out beautifully we will have a dream team minus one but I can live with that.
Looked at giving up so,e of my 29 trainees so it look easier for me now and some will be qualified almost by the time new person starts (well interviews are Tuesday week).
Missed gym yesterday due to working late but worth it.
Busy day again today must get a few things done that I am late with and then try to get one of our new trainees signed off this afternoon. First proper adviser sign off for me I have only done gateway assessors before,
Looks like we are going out the three if us from work on Friday possible in my town which means I can walk home, we shall see I'm not golfing until Sunday.
Hope you all have a lovely Tuesday sun is just starting to shine here.:T

Gosh the weekend is going quickly, nice night out on Friday not too expensive wine at new Mill is £18.95 a bottle and the pub area is tiny to moved to a cheaper place across the road pretty quickly then back to mine. I had the worst hangover all day Saturday I really really cannot drink wine all night. Usually I drink spritzer and then stop after a few hours but forgot all about that and that's why I suffered so badly and wasted all day Saturday,
Got my expenses from work finally so bank account is only £134 over drawn with payday on Wednesday. I know I got that extra £1000 share money but I did pay that off the cards so only owe £300 on one card and £1200 on Bcard on 0%. Next month shouldn't be too bad even with Christmas. I used to get a bonus in December with my old job will miss that but heyho.
Still busy at work but interviews Tuesday will help should only be a month or so before new person can start and I don't have to look after the 29 trainees on my own. Doing a training course on Monday I am prepared but nervous as it involves training on new IT package so fingers crossed I can do it.
Playing golf at 10 today then it's the AGM not sure I really want to stay all day but I did waste yesterday so it's my own fault. My lovely friends came around yesterday and fixed the broken glass in the greenhouse. Other friend is popping over to look at window and I am going to get him to take a look at the extractor fan to see if its easy to replace.
Now that probate is sorted and DH has been to at least one bank I should get the £5000 I lent him to put into his ISA. I am going to have to be very careful with it. It needs to top up the £3600 in my long term saver to fill my ISA for next year and also help with one of things like car insurance, tax etc I have not saved for.
Joint account and joint holiday account is looking really good so house repairs will be fine.
Really should get up and cook breakfast as I think DH wants to go out and we do need to curb the spending.
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.Save £12k in 25 No 49

As I only drink 1 or 2 units a week now, I laugh at people with hangovers in that smug fashion that only sober people can:p ( though I've had a few in my time and always promised I wouldn't do it again).
It sounds promising on the money front ans should put you on a good footing for the new year.0 -
I don't normally drink to excess or if I do drink all night it beers which I'm fine with. I really must stop drinking wine one or two spritzers max.
Training went well at work then had to train someone else as I got back, talk to a trainees who's been with us less than two weeks and have annoyed everyone. Then discuss stats with a trustee who is trying to help before doing a clear out of rubbish. Varied job I have but good fun. Tomorrow is the interview for the training supervisor who is going to help me. I really hope I like her she sounds great.
Gym tonight, dinner, cream cake and now in te bath. Not going to stay up late that's for sure.
