Didn't have a great night with DD last night, slept badly and was very tired this morning. I had breakfast and lunch in the work canteen, it's very subsidized but I still spent £3.65.

Well so far apart from Sunday DD and I have been getting on OK this week, and I've taken the day off today as we're going to an agricultural show with some friends. I don't think it's going to be a very MSE day, but I'm in budget so far this month for spending money, so we should be OK.
£12.48 from TopCashBack has cleared in my account so I'll get that paid off the CC later. Still waiting for the £30 insurance cashback to clear tho, that's taking ages.

Rubbishy weekend as far as money saving goes. Decided it was time that I got socialable and dusted off the gas BBQ. Spent £27 on a gas refill  only to find out the pipes on the BBQ had corroded and it was defunct.
Spent most of the day trying to fix my laptop keyboard that was typing strange things, then DS comes along and fixes it in 10 minutes grrr. Anyway I'm going to be positive...So good things of the weekend- Went for a 13 miles bike ride

oo oo I got a badge, for saving so much on my home insurance :j
I can't wait for that 'debt free' badge...
Well holiday is over, and what a holiday it was, cycling the outer Hebrides, hostelling and eating frugally. In total including trains, ferries etc I think it came in a little under £400. Not mega frugal, but a wonderful wonderful experience.
Bank account is a little depleted, though I still have over £1000 in savings and both accounts still in the black.
Bad news is that drive man has completely gone awol. I've had another company in to quote for finishing it, who say it's been badly laid and it needs to be taken up and start again. I'm resigned to the fact that I will need to increase my debt to do this. So annoyed as I shouldn't have started the job in the first place, I could have by debt below £3000 by now if this hadn't happened.
Oh well a lesson to me to stay clear of rogue traders, I need to find out how to try and claim back from him now.
