2nd post of the day wow!

Well DS didn't get the job he applied for, but hey hi. I'm proud he applied for it anyway and it was good of them to let him know.

Also I had my first quote in for the drive, and it's way more, so #lazygit will have to finish it. His excuse for not being round in the past 2 weeks, is that he was changing vans pffft. He'll be back on Monday he says. I won't hold my breath.

Not a bad day today, felt quite motivated. Cleaned out car, cut grass and went for a bike ride, that was after a full day at work.
Lunch was on expenses as I was away from the office.

Spent £2.45 on a nail file (cheaper than a manicure) and a loaf of bread. Also took some vouchers to Sainsbobs that I'd forgotten to use and asked them to add them on to my Nectar card, which they duly did, they were worth £2.40 so definitely worth doing.

Have thought about Ebay today, so that's a start lol

Updated my business spreadsheets and it owes me £683 in travel expenses and £1100 in rent - £1783 YAY, only there isn't really enough slack to pay myself all that, and the summer is usually very quiet, so I will wait a bit longer.

That's about all for tonight, sleep well every-one xx

What a productive evening you had Skinny and you do sound happier which is great. :)

I need to get some outside jobs done too - staring at my half trimmed hedge isn't going to get it cut really :rotfl:

Nice one on the business amounts as well. :T

Sleep well and yay for Friday tomorrow. :D

Friday was a good day, got loads cleared at work. All my expenses up to date and a claim in for £330 which will be paid end of the month.

Also I booked some airport parking through topcashback and £8.69 is showing already. Pity I'm not allowed to book all my flights and hotels that way too! I've got about £50 pending in topcashback at the moment.

4 weeks today I will depart for my summer holiday, a cycling holiday in the outer Hebrides with a couple of friends, really looking forward to it. The trains and first nights accommodation are booked and paid for so just some hostels and food to pay. I have £198.65 in my holiday fund is that is the budget for the week :) in fact just noticed I have £1,171.49 in my savings/budget pots :T

I have a date later today, see how that goes, I think he's a bit short for me actually but he looks nice, and I should try not to be too height-est, I can't be too choosy at my age lol. TBH getting a bit bored with dating, maybe the time is not right for me.

Luckily I got a load of washing done in the week, including the bedding, as it's raining today. I'm away with work next week so no shopping to do. Sunday I'm off to watch stage 2 of tour de yorkshire with my pal, I'm hoping to get there early as apparently there's loads of freebies handed out first :D

Apart from that my list looks like this
    • Tidy up a bit
    • Measure up some blue glass splashback I have and get it on Ebay. No idea if it's worth much if anything, but you never know!
    • Get business admin up to date
    • Pick up prescription
I had my hospital tests for my heart while I was in 'no posting mode' results back showed 'ectopic heart beats', benign but scarey, the treatment is to stay on betablockers :( or to try and control it with lifestyle and wean off the drugs.
I think when he debts are paid, DD is in a better place and I have a good man in my life then stress levels will be lower and I will be in a better place to ditch the meds.

Well I'd better crack on, hope you all have a lovely weekend xx

Well the date went really well, but I'm not getting my hopes up, being realistic.
I went to see the start of stage 2 tour de france today, not a freebie in site, but it was well worth getting up for. Spent £7.20 on bus fare and a couple of coffees.
Off to pack now for a quick work trip

Well I'm away 3 days this week, so should get at least 2 NSDs out of that that starting with today.

Frustrated with work today, some rubbish kicked off that upset me, and there's nothing I can do about it, apart from not take things personally.

£25 off MBNA today and signature updated. That £25 took me over 2 miles stones. 75% of the original debt paid, and over £8000 paid off so far this year. I would celebrate with a chocolate from the minibar, but this isn't one in this rather basic hotel. Oh well still reason for a :j
