Me again, I just wanted to jot down some ideas for raising £289 before the end of the month

    1. Sell old uni book on Amazon
    2. Relist phone on Gumtree
    3. Ask local gallery what my signed print is worth and whether they'll buy it off me
    4. Go through wardrobe for anything I haven't worn in the last year (and I know as I put all the hangers backwards a year ago so if they're still that way I haven't worn it!) and ebay them
    5. List all old police albums on Facebook :(
    6. Have a scrounge around and see what else I can sell on gumtree/facebook/ebay
    7. Check topcashback
    8. Withdraw funds from fiverr.com
    9. Check all survey accounts and see what's in there
    10. Place a cosmic order:rotfl:

  • Hi Skinnylatte,
I finally made it all the way through your diary, what a fabulous read.
You are doing so well and it's very inspiring.
It's nice to know I'm not the only one who has weeks where money just seems to fly out of my purse and there is nothing to do to stop it, my bug bear atm is car repairs (windscreen, driveshaft, 4 tyres in 8 weeks on a 4 year old car) poor thing does lots of mileage though.

anyway thankyou for your upbeat updates, they do make me smile

Hi Buffy, I joined Swagbucks today and earned a whole 31 swags before it did my head in. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong but it kept taking me off to other sites to part with all my personal details.

Starmummy, what a lovely post, thank you. I think money flies out of my purse most weeks, but a lot less than it used to! It's a shame about the car, mine cost me £1500 in repairs last year, and would have been about the same this year, although it was a bit older that yours.

Well today wasn't really a great success, I went down to the picture place and they were shut ggrrrr, will have another go tomorrow.
I did make £35 selling on Facebook though and £3.20 from a load of old coppers.

I've requested a topcashback payment of £6 and will add that when it hits my account. I checked all my survey sites and one was near paying so I topped that up with a couple of surveys and then for some reason it wouldn't let me cash out, I'll have another go later.

Tonight I will be listing stuff on Ebay although there's nothing really of any value, and I'll bump up all the Facebook stuff.

    Summary of today
£10 FB sale of battery charger and spare lawn mower cable
£25 FB sale of Chiminea and bag of logs
£3.20 Copper jar changed at Coinstar

    £38.20 made today - £250.80 to go 14 days

This is my punishment for making unbudgeted spends on my credit card, evil thing

I've some stuff on Ebay not very hopefull though, no bids and no watchers, and have relisted some Facebook items. Still can't shift my phone.
I was going to ring the picture place today and then realised it was bank holiday doh, so that is to to tomorrow.
Topcashback paid out £6.10 and I've 'donated' £73.13 that was left in my car repair pot that I won't need for car repairs now.
    £114.43 - £174.57 to go 12 days

On other matters, the budgets not looking too bad for this month so far, although I have a date tomorrow night, meal out so might end up paying half of that.

DS is off to stay with his half brother for easter so I have a few days to myself, DD is working. I need to blitz the house before back to work on Tuesday.

Medication seems to be working well and I've had no funny turns for a couple of weeks, although I do get pretty tired.

Cutting milk out of the diet is easier said that done, I ate and icecram the other day before I realised lol. On the whole though I have vastly reduced, and yes I do feel better.

Credit card pot is still standing at £114.43 - £174.57 to go in 10 days. Have relisted stuff on FB/Gumtree but not much happening.

Finally got to speak the picture place about selling my picture and they don't buy them, he suggested Ebay if I can figure out from the signature who painted it.

I went to a car boot today and spent £5.90 on a French connection dress, 4 wine glasses that I needed, and a black piggy bank just like one I used to have as a kid.

Date last night (3rd one) was lovely, I cooked instead so very MSE and he was the perfect gent.

    Happy easter all :EasterBun
