Thank you for your comments, it really keeps my spirits up, i don't know if I'd have got this far without you lot. Just having some-where to brain dump is such a relief, and the fact any-one reads it and takes the time to comment is AMAZING!
I decided to go back to work on Friday, by lunch time I felt pretty yuk and came home, I have a docs appointment tomorrow and am going to ask him to sign me off. I have taken every-one's advice (very unlike me!) since I got home on Friday and have just rested. I even cancelled a date I had on Friday evening, I'm not sure I feel any better for the rest, but I definitely don't feel worse.
I haven't been out much so haven't spent a great deal either. New car seems to be averaging about 65mpg, so chuffed :TPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Hi there Skinnylatte
I've just read your diary and wanted to congratulate you on doing so well. Brilliant, and very motivating for me.
Keep going...we'll get there!If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -
Thanks Ani*fan, I found you're diary too, you're right we will get there. HOWEVER...I need to have a serious word with my self. I have just paid £289 for a food allergy test, and on the CC too, why I ask my self?
Did I need it (and this is the part I will justify why I needed an allergy test in a 'spendaholic' kind of way), I've always thought I had an food intolerance or allergy to some things, possibly eggs and peppers, I don't feel well after eating them, and once had an allergic reaction to kiwi's so I try to avoid all those things. With my current palpitations and general blugh feeling day to day I though it would be a good idea once and for all to find out what my body doesn't like and eliminate it from my diet. Some-one at work did it a few months ago, and she looks just amazing now. So there we go I have justified it - not lol!
That gives me until the end of this month to raise the £289 from somewhere so I can pay the CC off all in one go. Right what have I got to sell...
My old Blackberry £70 (Glad I kept the box and all the instructions)
My car bluetooth (new car has built in blue tooth) £30
uumm, I'd better get looking for some other stuff.
I'm signed off work this week and on holiday next, so what I save in fuel commuting can maybe go towards it too.
I need to find £60 as I said I would take DS and his friend for a snow boarding lesson during the holidays, his friend comes down from Scotland during the holidays and they did their level 1 last time, so I said they could do level 2 at easter. I can take this from the 'holiday' fund though as there's £100 in there.
DD's 'holiday' this year is paid for with the Leeds fest tickets I gave her. Just mine to pay for which is...
Festival with a friend in August, the tickets are already paid for, so it's just spending money required, and a cycle tour in Scotland with another friend in the summer, I need to work out a budget for that, but she's a total MSE so it won't be expensive
So my new target for April is to STOP spending like a spendy personPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Today I received a tube of toothpaste in the post, no idea why, although suspect I must have filled in some form for it at some point, but hey FREE toothpaste.
I also received my new tax code 314LThis has been adjusted to pay off my personal tax liabilities from 2012/2013 and the tax credits I owe, it was expected and will reduce my take home by around £200 for the next 12 months hohum.
I've updated my signature today, nearly cleared 70%
Since I've been off sick I've been googling like mad, and it turns out that the cause of my palpitations may actually have been the contraceptive implant that I had fitted at the back end of last year, which is probably also the cause of the inflamed cyst last month and general lethargy and yukky feeling I've had since Christmas too.
I've got an appointment first thing in the morning to get the blasted thing removed, and hopefully after that life can get back to it's normal mad self.
Another thing my mother was right about - don't mess around with your hormones she said!
I've spent some good quality time with DD this week which has been lovely, she's been on good form. I bought her Artic Monkey tickets for Christmas, at Finsbury Park in May. We've been researching how to get there and where to stay very carefully and we booked Megabus for £16 return and a hotel near to Kingscross for £125, but I had a free night worth £45 with hotels.com so it only cost £80 between the 2 of them. She's paid for the bus and hotel herself
A bit scarey her and her friend off to London on their own, but she's been with me a few times and both the places they need to go (Finsbury Park and Camden Market) are only 2 tube stops from Kingscross, so they can't go to far wrong (I hope!)

A wee trip to the hospital this morning to get my implant removed, SOOO pleased it's gone, I hope my body gets back to normal quickly now.
I managed to leave town without visiting the new John Lewis that's just opened or Long Tall Sally or even B&Q to eye up a new kitchen. :T
My banana bread turned out really scrummy too.
More than a third of the way through the month and I've spent £105 out of my £610 budget, good going, although most of this is because I have been off work and haven't driven far.
However our Easter holidays start today and DS has a friend staying from Scotland for the week, so with 2 teen boys in the house I think the food budget might get busted next week.
I've booked snow boarding for them both on Tuesday for £52 which has come out of the holiday budget.
the AA have refunded my membership fee, so I'm all on track and in budget for this month, just need to find £289 for my credit card bill for next month, and so far I haven't had much motivationPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Sorry to hear you haven't been well SL, but pleased to hear you've had the implant removed. Hopefully you'll start to feel better soon.
Well done on the budgeting, sounds like you've done really well. Great self control on the wine too!0 -
So tired tonight, but wanted to write in my diary as I've been neglecting it.
DS's friend arrived to stay on Saturday with a bottle of wine, so I got a free one after all
Took DD into hospital for her brace fitting, she looks too cute, although her first comment when we got out was 'Does it make my mono brow look bigger?', so funny. Lunch was free Macdonalds with the monoply promotion that's on now, and I bought her a couple of new bra's out of my clothing budget, it's wonderful to actually have money put by for these things, the only problem is that there's never anything left in the clothing budget for me!
My food test results came back, and I have an intolerance to milk and egg  well it's going to be fun trying to avoid those. Not very MSE spending £289 on a test and now I need to buy soya milk which is 3 times the price of normal milk. Oh well I'm going to give it a go and see if I feel any better.
I still need to raise some money for my credit card bill that's due in 17 days which is £17 per day between now and then, there's a challenge. I dedicate Wednesday to said challenge...
