I took a cube to the PO the other week ....it was being sent locally and as it turned out only a few mins walk from the PO....it took a lot of persuasion to get the kindly lady to accept it....she was more than happy to walk it round I think and save the postage costs....quick thinking and I said its a test parcel to my business partner and we are seeing how easily polystyrene travels by post without getting damaged...last week another needed sending further away...so I now have a lovely conversation with the lady in the PO and she's telling me how glad "my test parcel arrived safely" as I'm clearly sending more!!!!!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Another option for posting a parcel to a nearby address: say it's an eBay purchase and customer has paid postage so you don't want to look as though you're pocketing the postage fees by not posting it.

This happened recently to me when a buyer paid the P&P but it would've been cheaper for me to deliver. I thought about contacting buyer and agree a deal but decided against and just fulfilled the contract for ease.

Did you receive an invite to do this survey? Or did you apply somewhere?

Do you do the usual one that rewards with stamps as well?

Sorry about all the questions but £25 for what seems very little work is pretty good.

Has anyone else on here ever done this particular survey?

I received an invite via email after being on the main panel (about 4 weeks after I finished). The email says it is a new research study. It is very simple and quick for the £25 reward so definitely worth doing if you get an invite. They even said in the initial email that it should take no more than 5 minutes of my time each day!

Received a new (to me) type of post via the survey today. A grey plastic posting bag with flat sheets of paper inside (about the same size as a Large Letter envelope). One sheet had the R number and the Smart was hidden in an envelope in the middle.

Worth looking out for as I thought it was something I'd bought and had forgotten about! :rotfl:

Since resting TNS keep me busy with their correctly addressed survey. However the new study offering £25 would be greatly received by me.

With the amount of survey items I'm receiving, TNS must be keeping Royal Mail in business.

I gave up on this thing they accepted my sign up years ago sent me some foil envelopes and that's it never heard from them since so I gave up sounded like a lot of effort and pointless for my postcode but I am moving soon to a different area may give it another go if anyone thinks its worth it?

Who do you think provides the stamps?

It was a tongue in cheek comment based on the number of test items I receive compared to real mail!
