The cubes are annoying as there are only so many times you can think of stuff that is light.

One of these days I will just say it's a box of air...

    Hi

    I says it's a foam sample.

I'm sure they said a couple of years ago that we would only have to deal with a maximum of two cubes every six months. ???

    That's what I thought too!

I do spend the vouchers in Iceland/Wilko but would prefer cash for cash replacement so I can decide where to shop. Have emailed TNS to explain my growing displeasure so await a response.

Haven't a clue what I'm going to say is in them the *4* times I have to post in the coming weeks! :rotfl:

This is the information in FAQ on the website which relates to previous posts -

On average you should only be allocated one APL item to send/receive per month and you will receive an additional £2 voucher for every confirmed sent APL item.

Can I opt out of sending Small and Medium boxes?
We require all panellists to be able and willing to send all envelope types as part of the survey, and as such we have no provision for panelists to ‘opt out’ of sending and receiving Small and Medium Boxes. If you are unable to send or receive larger items (items that do not fit through a standard letterbox), regrettably you will be unable to continue to participate as a panelist.

I have been asked by the post office what is inside the item I am trying to post. What shall I say?
Please say that the item contains a sample of foam. Please contact our helpline with the details of the post office in question if you are experiencing any further issues.

There was also a comment that from 2014 as they were dealing with more parcels we would be having to deal with more of them.

I certainly don't think that anyone needs to worry about not posting at the time requested. The main priority is that it is posted on the day listed. I definitely do not make more than one journey out to post items and it usually has to fit in with my movements for that day.

However, you must record the actual time/place correctly on the website.

    Hi all

I am on a supposed short break and have received the following response from wonderful TNS :

'RE: Royal Mail Survey - Short Break (Any ideas when I will be back on the main survey) ?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately at the moment there are no spaces in your area, but this can often changes quickly. The system works out the best post code match to the slots we have available in your area, and sends out invitations on that basis. If you are free at the time, please click on the link to accept the email invitation.

Royal Mail have also recently reduced our targets for all post codes in the UK, so it may take a little longer for a space to appear.
If you have any questions please let us know.

    Regards

In my current stint I've been getting 2 send and one receive each month. Luckily, I've got a choice of post offices on my way home from work so I can alternate; plus eBaying means I have different shaped parcels on other days. When I used to work from home - it was very little trouble to stroll out to the post office at a non-peak time, Now, a bit more forethought is needed and I'm considering not re-enlisting once I'm off the panel next month.

Mind you - I won a £10 daily prize last week so I'm feeling more kindly to TNS at the moment!
I need to think of something new here...

Never heard of that survey - what exactly do you have to do?
Seems a better option than the usual one where we get paid in stamps.

    Letterbox Diary
For the first week I had to record the usual mail that came to my house in an online diary, and for the next 3 weeks I have to record what me or someone else in my household does with that mail. (throws it away, contacts someone for more info, moves it, reads it etc.) I also had to take photos of the envelope and contents. (apart from personal items)

Did you receive an invite to do this survey? Or did you apply somewhere?

Do you do the usual one that rewards with stamps as well?

Sorry about all the questions but £25 for what seems very little work is pretty good.

Has anyone else on here ever done this particular survey?

Have had a reply saying they are going to pass my email on to management to bring my suggestion of Paypal payments for posting parcels up at their next meeting then will come back to me with any feedback.

This is my last week of my first 6 month stint, and the only cube I had to post was when I was completing my training. It seems very unfair some people are posting them out so regularly whilst others get none! I did get a DVD box to post out but that was pre-stamped and it fitted into the box on the industrial estate where I work so no need to visit the PO

Today's inventiveness whilst posting a cube & medium parcel "they're architectural models involving paper and polystyrene so are light but can't be squashed down" :rotfl:
