well i have now been removed from the panel completely after someones posting pack was sent to belfast for routine tests by royal mail and they opened it to find mine and im guessing several other panelists details.

i was in the middle of an unaddressed and correctly delivered surveys and had 2 weeks on the main panel.. guess i go look else where for surveys to do

There have been other posts on this thread about panellists being "uncovered ".
I am not surprised as I am sure my postman must know what I am up to! I receive the distinctive posting pack once a week with the "if undelivered " address prominent. Then my incoming mail has suddenly increased with post of differing sizes, they must think I am a music fan with the number of dvd's I receive.
However perhaps they now treat me like royalty and make sure no post goes missing.:rotfl:

Well mine's either too thick to notice or doesn't care, because my post is quite often all over the place. (Literally, when they just chuck it in the porch instead of using the handy letterbox provided.)
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I'm intrigued - wonder what routine tests RM do that involve sending things to Belfast? And that allow them to open items? I seem to recall that that's where things go if the address can't be deciphered but that shouldn't happen with a posting pack. Even if the address label got torn off - wouldn't it go back to Swan Lane instead?

    Hi

I thought that was odd as TNS's address is on the envelope. Must have been really badly damaged.

Ooh, just got my first "query". Am I sure the item arrived when I said it did? Am I really, really sure? Really? Could I be mistaken? Do I want to consider this more carefully? Well, punk, do yah?

For obvious reasons I know little of the TNS set up in RM.
Belfast (RLB) is the only unit legally allowed to open mail.
TBH it seems more likely the item got damaged and ended up at the RLB as normal mail.

    Hi

I've had a few of them. I tend to confirm as I record the items as soon as I receive them if not I write on the received date:)

Good system. They just queried the last collection time for my post box too, so I checked: a small sticker has appeared, saying the time will change 21st March. Looks like tns jumped the gun, not like them to make a silly mistake ;). Blimey, my post office moved a couple of weeks ago too, what a thrilling drama the postal system is. :D
