I have received the following query.

Date of Posting entered: Friday 08 May 2015
    Time of Posting entered: 18:10
Post office reportedly cleared at: 18:34 Friday 08 May 2015
SMART indicated date: Friday 08 May 2015

Why are they asking if I posted it on a different day when my date and theirs are the same? Or am I missing something?

Possibly an issue later in the pipeline. So they want to clarify when the item went into the system.
You have your time, the RM CMD report will show when the PO was collected.
If that item was late hitting the MC,then theres something amiss.

Maybe it's something to do with the fact there's only eight houses where I live with one post box. It's hardly rocket science that I get an influx of parcels and packages and every week there's a smart returns or two in the post box. I doubt the post man ever retrieves more then 10 letters a week from the box, pretty certain he's gonna notice those smart returns, esp as he's also the one that will sort his bag when he heads back to the depot, sorting out local post to mainland post :)

You miss one factor. Most posties could care less.
The survey doesnt impact the posties. It isn't really mentioned and the majority of posties wont even know about the survey.

Hi! I just applied to join the panel, what are the chances of actually getting onto it? How long did you have to wait from application to receiving your first pack? TIA :)

    Hi
I've been doing the training trial since 17th March
I received a set of stamps in the 1st pack but nothing since - am I to believe you get a set every month while training or is that it

You get the initial set of stamps when training....and then no more until you are transferred on to the full panel.
This can take upto 7 weeks although you may find that you dont post every week whilst training and some weeks are blank.

once on the full panel you should receive stamps each month.

Send them an email and even attach a photo just to back up your query if you can....or if you got a receipt for the charge you paid

They dont refund in money but will send you stamps to cover or exceed the cost of what they owe.
You should still be able to log the details of the received item as you presumably have the R number details inside the jiffy bag...just where it asks you to confirm the postage amount I think you tick the other/different amount box and at the end of the input it will ask you to confirm the changes

I sent them an email and they replied saying they will send me stamps to the value. They haven't asked for proof but I guess as I have been with them a number of years and this is the first time this has happened they trust me.

I did laugh though because they said if it happens again can I let them know before I go and collect the item! Without a crystal ball I am not sure how I am meant to know what the item is. I do actually receive post other than for the mail survey!

Can't you tell by the addressee initials that is a test item??

Just wondering what to do with all the stamps, I think I've used one in the past five months lol

If anyone has any spare (unused) stamps, whether normal 1st class, large letter or the packs, I work for a small charity which funds holidays for children with disabilities, illness or other family problems. I used to be on the survey so my stamps were used for correspondence at the charity, mostly for sending cheques out. Unfortunately I'm 'on a break' at the moment, though it's time I was recalled I reckon, so the supply of stamps has dried up. We had to buy some the other day, can't believe how expensive they are!!

So any going spare would be gratefully received!

Let me know if you would like contact details. Thanks
