Royal Mail Surveys rewarded with Stamps.

I had the same problem. I didnt know if it was a test item until i collected it and paid the required postage. As it turned out to be a test item, i took a photograph of the red card, the envelope showing details and of the contents and i emailed it to the survey system with a covering letter. i got a letter of apology from them, reimbursement in stamps, and an extra pack of stamps as a good will gesture.:)0

Just back on the mail panel again and wonder how everyone is getting round the boxes with polysterine in now
The post office used to accept when I said samples inside but
now they are light as a feather and not sure what to say is inside
the box now
Would be interested to know what you all say when asked

Its packaging samples...thats what I said last time I was asked...it caused a quizzical look but I didnt elaborate any further, just returned the look and the parcel was taken from me.
I do agree it was much easier with the foam as that just used to be passed off as "cushion padding samples"...and I also agree the polystyrene is much lighter in weight.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

I have been saying it's craft items, thought that sounded possible with it being light0 -
Thank you for the replies and good answers I will just continue with saying samples but craft samples sounds good too

I used the line that it was a sample cardboard box so couldn't be crushed last time I had to post a medium parcel.
Although having to pay over the £5.65 hurt me as I knew that if it was something I was personally sending I'd be next door handing in to the MyHermes shop for a fraction of the price!0 -
Oh i stopped the girl behind my post office counter where i go from asking ever again, the first time i took one and she asked,i said loudly, its a sex toy! funnily enough she never asks me anymore:D0
