FINALLY got my first pack, must have signed up ages ago..
12 free stamps, plus a very confusing set of test labels / envelopes. What is the R number they mention??
R numbers are on the sticky label you attach to the bit of paper you post in the test envelope with the smart card. You only record the R numbers of the test items that come to you, not the ones you have to send0 -

Although having to pay over the £5.65 hurt me as I knew that if it was something I was personally sending I'd be next door handing in to the MyHermes shop for a fraction of the price!
My friendly local subpostmaster asked if the medium box couldn't be reduced as it was just mms over the size for the cheaper postage.
I said no and my husband said we are selling fresh air.
When I posted the cube with the polystyrene he said I don't need to ask if there is anything prohibited in here as it is so light.0 -
I'm back on the main survey again after several weeks "on hold" following retraining. Nice to get just one posting pack which contained SMARTS as well as my letters to post (and stamps) instead of having to wait for them to arrive separately. I've noticed the posting times have switched to before midday and after midday, but there was no letter saying these have to be adhered to. I shall continue to post at whatever time is convenient for me unless they contact me and say otherwise2020 Wins:

that changed couple months ago because of the new post times on post boxes.0

What you may have to do is as ma shadow says post inline with your postboxes and final collection times.
so if your final collection is 9am on a box you use I believe they need you to try to stick to that rather than the schedule directive.
They still work on day collected rather than time so you need to post according to last collection times as indicated on the boxes you commonly use....for some that last collection is 7am some 9am and some are sill around the 5pm mark.
Hope you still have a few of the latter ones you can use.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

They recently sent out a news sheet re this.
You will find that items will now need to be posted witin two timebands;
Before Midday and After Midday
Please post within the time bands as requested on your postal schedule and complete the posting information online as normal.
Please post your items before the Last Collection Time indicated on the post box. We are aware that in some instances it is not possible for you to post before Last Collection Time , in which case please post according to the instruction on the posting schedule.
If you are unable to post within the scheduled time band, please hold the item until the same day in the following week. Please ensure that the correct date of posting is entered when you go online. .

I am back on main survey after a break as well. I have been sent 2 smarts but only one is allocated to my 2 to posted letters as there is just "add smart" to the other address so I assume I add the one sent.
My post goes at 4.45pm and is the only collection so posting before or after midday wont make any difference surely. I usually post on way to work morning. When it says Post Office I put it in POst Office box which is on pavement outside.0 -

How do you know its the only collection?0 -
I was asked "how do I know this is the inly collection" well its only one mentioned on post box. If there is another one it isnt common knowledge and has never been mentioned.0

On my local box there's only one collection time but it does say other collections can be made up till the last collection time0
