Royal Mail Surveys rewarded with Stamps.

I had a card put through my door saying there was £1.74 to pay on a letter as the sender had not put enough postage on it. I collected it from the sorting office and it is a jiffy bag to be entered into the royal mail site. There was no postage at all on the item
Obviously I can't enter it so I will send them an email. I am not happy but maybe they will send me the money somehow? The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -

Send them an email and even attach a photo just to back up your query if you can....or if you got a receipt for the charge you paid
They dont refund in money but will send you stamps to cover or exceed the cost of what they owe.
You should still be able to log the details of the received item as you presumably have the R number details inside the jiffy bag...just where it asks you to confirm the postage amount I think you tick the other/different amount box and at the end of the input it will ask you to confirm the changesfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Thanks badlass for removing the details...
Just so everyone is aware I am not a moderator or spokesperson...nor have I ever claimed to be.
I sent the following PM to Badlass and another user
perhaps I could ask you to remove or at least modify your recent post on this thread.
Where post is sent to and received from should remain confidential and as such by publishing the full details of the address of the panel you are openly publishing details which are not only seen by fellow panelists but royal mail workers and you are compromising the position of the panel
I do feel that quoting the full address of the panel may have been inappropriate, although I do concede that it's easily done given the fact that this is by no means a closed forum just read by a select few....its easy to forget that you are not just "chatting amongst a few"
I hope that's cleared the air....
No it hasn't cleared the air. Unfortunately I find your manner pompous in the extreme. I don't feel singled out, I politely asked a question nothing more. I do realise where I had posted, which is an open and unrestricted forum, and do not need to be spoken to as though I am not orientated to time or place. I removed my posts purely because I may have upset others... Not you.
I will now leave you to your thread and glean any future help or information elsewhere.

Indeed do a forum search and it comes up year after year
I live in the sticks. It's of no secret that I do this survey. The postman sees my post, the post office sees my post, everyone talks I'd be stupid to think that neither know I'm part of the survey team0 -
I tend to agree. Only need to google tns rm or kantar ops and the swan lane address comes up

Why would seeing your post them them you are on the survey?
Maybe it's something to do with the fact there's only eight houses where I live with one post box. It's hardly rocket science that I get an influx of parcels and packages and every week there's a smart returns or two in the post box. I doubt the post man ever retrieves more then 10 letters a week from the box, pretty certain he's gonna notice those smart returns, esp as he's also the one that will sort his bag when he heads back to the depot, sorting out local post to mainland post0 -
after 4 months ive been invited back into the main panel. woot woot0

I have received the following query.
Date of Posting entered: Friday 08 May 2015
Time of Posting entered: 18:10
Post office reportedly cleared at: 18:34 Friday 08 May 2015
SMART indicated date: Friday 08 May 2015
Why are they asking if I posted it on a different day when my date and theirs are the same? Or am I missing something? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
The whole point of the Postal Survey is that it is meant to be kept a secret that you are on the survey. The more attention that is drawn to the address of the survey then the more likely people are to connect the dots and realise that you are on the survey.
It would not be the 1st time that a whole swathe of people have been identified by Royal Mail as being on the panel and removed accordingly.
For this reason I feel that LEJC is correct in her PM.
I'm sorry you feel slighted badlass, LEJC is a big contributor to this thread and has helped many people and I'm sure she didn't intend to upset you, indeed she meant to help you."Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

I've experienced something similar in the past. Heaven knows the answer to your question. I just confirmed the posting details.0
