Check your emails. I've had an email from them saying they tried to call me today. They have asked if I will continue to participate for up to another 10 weeks, (I was due to be rested from next week), as there's a temporary shortage of participants in my postcode area.

    HTH, Birdy

Thanks, I haven't had any emails though. I'm not a proper member of the system, just doing the unaddressed thingy after replying to a TNS survey, so unless they're trying to recruit me (unlikely?) I don't think it will be that.

"Need some help please. Next week I have something scheduled to post on the Saturday (for the first time). I am away for the weekend and leave before the last post on Friday. Reading the FAQ it says to post an item the same day the next week instead but should I notify them in advance or just wait until next week and say that I couldn't post it?"

I never notify them in advance. I believe there is no need.
You just post the item on the following Saturday and record the data.

Thank you. So when I do post it, do I go to the original entry on the previous week and when it says did you post the item today, just select no and then presumably it will ask for the date.

No, you just say that the item has been posted today, just proceed as usual!
You are more than welcome, by the way

I really don't know what TNS are playing at - I received two SMARTS in the post today direct from them as I had none left at all and when I just went on the website to log my postings there was a request to return one of them! I only just managed to post my items this week, I had a SMART turn up just in time yesterday, really wish they would just buy some more of them and stop messing us about. Ah well, I'm almost at the end of this 6 month period (so far as I know, lol), been stockpiling my stamps ready for my 6 month 'vacation' :D

I think I have them all :rotfl: I now have 8 (3 logged and 5 awaiting stock check) Only have 2 postings next week. This will be the first time I have had to send any from stock.

Same here! I had 1 SMART turn up today with a note and an email saying I am short of stock so here you go, then I've just logged on to register a magazine I received today and they are asking for it back, I also got wiped out last week so have none to post for next week unless I get a load sent to me in the next 2 days!

I'm really confused.... I've been training since the end of August, a week ago I got this email:
Thank you for posting items for the Royal Mail Survey for the past few weeks. Due to a space being oversubscribed, we are going to pause your participation for a few weeks.

We will let you know as soon as we have found another space for you. Meanwhile, you are able to continue participating on the Correctly Delivered survey.

Two days later I got this email:
Welcome to the Royal Mail Survey.

We have now registered your details to our live posting panel and you will receive your first Sender Pack in the week commencing 07/10/2013

You will receive an email to notify when your first pack is being prepared and despatched.

Does that mean my training is over, or am I starting training again? And what is the Correctly Delivered survey?

Welcome to the world of TNS and its conflicting emails.
You're probably back on the panel, I'd wait for the pack to turn up then take it from there. If you look at your posting plan on the website you should be able to work out from the addresses if it's training or not.

The correctly delivereds and unaddressed mail surveys are separate ones you register for as and when and get paid £5 lovetoshop vouchers for a 2 or 3 week period of recording if your ordinary post is being delivered as it should be, and monitoring junk mail. The invites to these are usually on the website when you log in, but you have to be quick as it's first come first served. You can do these even if you're being rested from the posting panel.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
