Pah, being rested again in two weeks. I'm pretty sure it's not been six months this time round, and the way postage has gone up I'm going through my stamps at speed.
I'm going to have to be super-organised and check every day for the unaddressed mail/ correctly delivereds to keep me going. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Mine wasn't 6 mths either, I worked that I have done 4 mths - that included posting to the famous Mr H.......
Lets see if the so called invite in 4-5 mths comes back.! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Quick question, I have added the labels to the inserts but have noticed that there are two labels with my name and address on the sticker sheet too - am I meant to stick them somewhere? Have looked at the FAQ but can't see anything about that????
I've given them to family in case they want to post anything to me! They are doing this as a fairly new thing, never used to be on there, not sure why they are.
Getting so much 'recycling' this time round on the panel due to the increase in received letters - huge amounts of jiffy envelopes (will giveaway on freecycle), card inserts (into recycling), wads of plain paper (trying to flatten to use in printer) and labels (re-using all the part used sheets in the printer).
Must admit I won't be too fussed when this stint ends.0 -
Glad it's not just me reusing everything in sight. I was beginning to feel a right cheapskate. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Seems such a waste otherwise!
I also give the used stamps to charity.
Plus the foreign language paper I receive from the panel (sure the postman must realise that's not really mine..) goes in pet cages as a liner.0 -
I missed a call from TNS earlier today. I *think* i've finished the unaddressed mail thingy (see post #326), why would they be calling? Maybe I've done something wrong? Or is this a routine phonecall?0

Dear
Thank you very much for your registration on https://www.world-mail-panel.com and your interest in our international postal surveys.
For a continuous survey, which starts in January 2014, we are looking for reliable panellists located in your region acting as a receiver of test mail with their private and/or business postal address.
With your help we will monitor the transit time of UK letters from the sender to the receiver (end-to-end). The postal service providers will use the results of the measurement to improve their quality of service for the benefit of all postal customers.
This survey is called Royal Mail Access (RMA) and is carried out on behalf of the major postal service providers in the UK, including Royal Mail. It measures the end-to-end transit times of all mail collected by service providers other than Royal Mail,
which is then handed over to Royal Mail for distribution to your home or office. The measurement results give Royal Mail the opportunity to further improve their cooperation with these service providers for the benefit of the public service provided to you.
YOUR TASK:
With the help of RFID transponder tags in every test item we will be able to track each letter's route through special antennas installed in mail sorting centres all across the UK. However, we rely on your help as a receiver to determine the final delivery date of the
test item. Therefore your job is extremely important to measure the exact transit time. It requires a daily mail checking routine as well as a timely confirmation of receipt.
- In case you participate with your private address you will receive between 2 and 5 test letters per week depending on your region.
- In case you participate with your business address you will receive between 4 and 10 test letters per week depending on your region.
- The majority of test mail will be regular letters and some large letters. In exceptional cases you will also receive a small parcel (approx. 1-2 parcels per year).
- You enter all delivery dates of your test mail on our website https://www.world-mail-panel.com.
- You return all transponders in postage-paid return envelopes provided by us in advance. You may simply drop them in a mailbox at your convenience.
YOUR REWARD:
For your activity, you will receive a basic monthly bonus of £3,00 as well £0,20 per confirmed test item and additional £0,10 per returned transponder. For example as a private receiver of test mail with a monthly average of twelve test items you would receive
a monthly bonus of £3 + 12 x £0,20 + 12 x £0,10 resulting in £6,60.
To redeem your bonus you can choose among:
- an Amazon gift voucher (https://www.amazon.co.uk)
- or a Globoforce gift voucher (https://www.globoforce.net/microsites/eng/index.jsp?client=myglobogift)
- or payment on a registered e-account with PayPal (https://www.paypal.com) or Moneybookers (https://www.moneybookers.com)
- or we donate your award to the international humanitarian medical aid agency "Doctors Without Borders" (https://www.msf.org)
Taking part will not cause any costs for you.
If you want to join this panel, please confirm your participation by providing us with your exact private and/or business postal address and daytime phone number as soon as possible.
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this and also what they think. Any help would be appreciated.0
