You have probably received the email because you expressed an interest in joining the panel a few weeks ago...I do remember someone putting up details of it on this thread a while back.

I missed a call from TNS earlier today. I *think* i've finished the unaddressed mail thingy (see post #326), why would they be calling? Maybe I've done something wrong? Or is this a routine phonecall?

Check your emails. I've had an email from them saying they tried to call me today. They have asked if I will continue to participate for up to another 10 weeks, (I was due to be rested from next week), as there's a temporary shortage of participants in my postcode area.

I've given them to family in case they want to post anything to me! They are doing this as a fairly new thing, never used to be on there, not sure why they are.

Getting so much 'recycling' this time round on the panel due to the increase in received letters - huge amounts of jiffy envelopes (will giveaway on freecycle), card inserts (into recycling), wads of plain paper (trying to flatten to use in printer) and labels (re-using all the part used sheets in the printer).

Must admit I won't be too fussed when this stint ends.

After years of dreaming about it, we are having a log burner installed in 4 weeks so I'm saving mine up as kindling :D

Yes, I had the same e-mail, too. :D
  • Need some help please. Next week I have something scheduled to post on the Saturday (for the first time). I am away for the weekend and leave before the last post on Friday. Reading the FAQ it says to post an item the same day the next week instead but should I notify them in advance or just wait until next week and say that I couldn't post it?

I never notify them in advance. I believe there is no need.
You just post the item on the following Saturday and record the data.
  • Crikey, I've just finished training and appear to be going live next week - I've been given 6 items to post - bit of a baptism of fire it seems!!

Does anyone know when the next postage stamps are due to be sent?

I received a package today containing next week's postings, and thought they may have been included.
