  • Has anyone made any sense of this yet today?

    Any advice willingly received.:(
I've entered a couple of my local Post Offices OK. It's actually not too urgent for me as I am currently being rested.

I see that MANAGE MY POSTBOXES has become MANAGE MY POSTING METHODS.

I just started doing the Unaddressed Mail survey today for a new three week period, I've done several of them before. I had 5 items showing on the website, all of which I received today :)

    Just finished it today :)
  • Well I think I've finished!

Have sent off 3 bags of unaddressed mail, 1 each last 3 mondays ( including today), but I didn't get any of the 4 leaflets on the list in the first week. Today, however, I got at least 1 leaflet that looked familiar, I think it was one of the ones I was supposed to get on 16th Sept. I can't check though as they disappeared on the website last week as it asked me to confirm I hadn't received them. The website has no more sections to mark mail as I've finished the 3 week period, but I've got 2 mailbags left, so I'm not sure if I'm still supposed to send off this weeks unaddressed mail?
  • Can't see how I am supposed to add a P.O. when the ones I already use are listed as active but it says no data found on active boxes or P.O.'s.
Active Post Offices Location DescriptionMon to Fri - Last collection timeSat - Last collection timePostoffice status
    No data found

Some which show in the postboxes are actually outside a P.O. How do I change them to P.O's rather than boxes?
    Thanks

If I am reading it right we don't need to change anything. We just add our PO for stuff that goes over the counter.
  • You need to go to Manage my Posting Methods on the Task Bar at the top and then select Register a New Posting Method and then select sub or main post office.

All the post boxes you registered before are still valid (and active for posting in a post box outside a post office). But for parcels that need handing over the counter you need to register a post office. This will probably be the same ones that you have already registered as a post box. You can have 10 post boxes registered AND 10 post offices registered.

Beware though when registering your post offices. I found with at least one of mine, the address is different to what I had previously registered as a post box. (The post office is inside a coop and presumably the back door is the registered address for the post office, whereas the post box is at the front on a different street.)

Yes, that is how I took it to be (So I have a post box registered and a post office registered at the same address)
