I feel your pain. I wonder if it was the same donut who did it to me. The calibre of panellists seems to have taken a turn for the worse recently.

I cannot agree more. I've noted a some of my jiffy bag items have no bundles of paper inside them, must be keeping them for themselves. Some letters have day, date and time for posting written on the envelope.

The whole survey is a lot more work for less reward. Too much hassle.

Pomdren - my experience is pretty much like yours re SMARTS. Since I returned to the survey in June I seem to have far fewer things to post than when I've been on the survey in the past. I'm receiving very few items from other posters and nothing like magazines etc. I am, however, receiving my reward stamps every month and am doing so little work for them I almost feel over rewarded!

I just started this and it's getting a little boring sending out these test items - I've had 4 weeks of it already and want to know if something more exciting is going to be sent my way :p

You think it's boring? What about the "regulars" who have to go through the tedious process each time they re-start?

Anyway, it shouldn't be much longer before you experience the giddy excitement of posting to real people. Enjoy! :)

I posted an APL cube on 18 August. Should I have received my £2 reimbursement by now?

Had an email back today saying "The vouchers for the August postings are being despatched at the moment, If you have not already received it now, it should be with you within the next 7 days."

Got my two weeks notice email for the end of my current 6 month stint. I can't wait, lol, not sure I'd up for doing the main survey all year round and my six months on conveniently misses out the Christmas period. I'm still on the permanent unaddressed mail survey panel and there are always the correctly delivered surveys, much less work and no mangy parcels to post :D

I'm just being turfed off as well. I'd be quite happy to be re-instated well before the 6 months - it's got a lot easier since RM changed a lot of postboxes to 9am potential last collection - no more faffing around with 10-1 slots and all that rubbish.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I've been posting every week now for must be 18 months!! Had an email about 2 weeks ago saying I am the end of my stint. Guessing there is a shortage of panellists in this area. Enjoy doing it but sometimes it's a pain to trek to the sorting office with 3 kids in tow x

Do TNS have a surplus of envelopes or something? This week's posting pack not only contained the unnecessary large white envelope, but now they're also sending a large unmarked SMART return envelope and a large brown addressed envelope to put it in. On what planet do they think we need to return so many SMARTs that they don't fit in the regular envelopes they send us every week? At least it makes the SMART returns less obvious. I always thought it would alert the posties that there was someone doing the survey in the area.

I can actually answer this one logically...as it happened a few months ago too...

Sometimes they run out of the small foil insert return smart envelopes...so they need to send you the 2 envelopes in the interim until they get more supplies...you need to put the smarts in the white smart envelope and then in the brown one..ie double wrapping in the foil and addressed envelope so that they are not recording the trace through the postal system when you return them...

I got my weekly pack of items to post today. included was a CD box
with a large piece of foam. This made the pack difficult for the postman to squeeze through my letterbox. just wondering how the panellists with small letterboxes get theirs when they are not at home. Do they have to go to the sorting office every week to pick them up?
