they do say that they currnetly give us the last acceptance time so that must be the last collection time as that is what they supply at present.

So anything posted in the box the time will be shown on the box as normal.

SO it should only be items where you need to go in to the post office to post that that would apply. In my PO that would be the same as last collection time as the post is transported from there to a sorting office.

I think post office staff are gettitng wise to this as when I stated that the cube contained a sample of foam the clerk gave a laugh as she looked a tthe other counter person and said 'oh, foam'.

Once we start asking about last acceptance times they will get suspicious especially as my PO is small and it will prbably be the same person on the counter each time.

I have not seen any notice inside the PO.

I hadn't seen it until you said.
After reading it I'm a little confused as unless it's items that don't fit in the postbox - I wouldn't normally go into the post office.
Agree it sounds like a bit of a faff

They say they're going to keep the details of each Last Acceptance Time logged for 2 months so should only need to do it once in a while.

The only reasoning for it i can think of is this:

Currently the "last posting time" shown by TNS is the time Royal Mail are scheduled to collect the mail, HOWEVER in the case of Post Offices (Particularly larger branches) it takes some time for the Post Office to actually prepare the mail for handover to Royal Mail and therefore any mail sent just before the collection time may be carried over to the following days collections.

As for the "Last acceptance time" been displayed in branch I have NEVER seen this in any of the branches I visit (7-8 regularly) although i have heard on a few occasions that this should be displayed along with a separate last drop off time for "Post and Go" items.

remember RM and PO are now separate.
So if the PO is causing delays/not meeting specs on collection of mail.
    There are financial implications.

    Mine arrived on 19th April.

If you haven't had yours yet it may be worth emailing TNS or contacting them via the helpline. They regularly take a long time to reply to email. The helpline doesn't seem to have many people on their end, but if you do get through to them they are usually very helpful.

Re acceptance times question - they seem to be asking us to do more and more on this survey - without paying us for it! - one thing you can be certain of though, if the Royal Mail is asking for this information TNS will be charging THEM for collecting it!

    ARGGGGGGHHHHHHH

I prepared my posting items for next week last Sat, but couldn't add the details to their system because they didn't allow me to enter details for stuff two weeks ahead - and now, when I try to enter the details, they seemed to have allocated me with smarts and forced me to return some to TNS - but the smarts are inside the envelopes!!!!

    What should I do? :/

The Smarts are always allocated by TNS. You need to wait until they show on your daily posting schedule before inserting them in the items.

Can you carefully open the items and put the correct Smarts in the correct items? Use tape to secure them again.

You could out a note in with them to let the recipient know you have reopened and taped them in case they think that another party did it.

Can anyone shed any light on the new cube incentive rule as have lost the email/paperwork about it. I know you get £4 in vouchers to pay for postage and £2 upon delivery. Does the receiver get anything? Is it £2 as well????? I've been doing this for 3 months now and received my first cube this lunchtime, luckily was in when came as collecting parcels from my local sorting office is a real pain as takes about half an hour to queue whatever time you go.
