I have a cube which I need to post and it has been stamped with a value of £2.80 - does anyone know if I will have to pay extra at the post office?

No, you will not. Straight to the front of the queue and just hand it over. £2.80 is second class. :)

I believe £2.80 is the price for a 2nd class small parcel, so no.

So, after starting retraining and then being told three weeks later that they were oversubscribed, receiving an email less than a week later to say I was back on the panel, then nothing for two weeks - I finally received my first real posting pack today. Got my stamps plus a nice pack of children's programme character stamps, according to the letter that was enclosed we should now get the special stamps once every three months. Only one item to post my first week, feeling happy :D

I put a SMART in an envelope and then stupidly entered it into the wrong item online - I emailed rmsurveys-helpline on Sunday but not heard anything back yet - is there another way to get this sorted out?

No one answered my question yet, can someone please help? I've been invited for the unaddressed mail survey in the past, now I have an account on the website but not currently doing anything.

Do I need an invite to do what you guys do ie. posting smarts, etc.? Or re register? Thank you!!

i wondered this when it happened to me.. ie:- would i need a new I.D. number on the website.. in the end i received an email inviting me back to the main panel, using my current I.D for signing in etc. so dont worry, im sure they are aware of you...and your I.D. will be the same. You could always send a polite email if you are concerned, as theres no hurry for a reply, but im sure theres no reason to be concerned :)

If the item is a jiffy bag/box then i would carefully open it, put a different SMART into the item then reseal it with tape (remembering to write onto the sheet for the R number why you have done so to ensure the recipient doesn't get suspicious that it was opened by Royal mail), Then put the SMART into whichever item you entered it for.

If its an envelope then its unlikely this will be possible without making a complete mess of the item.

Reopen it carefully then re-seal if with tape.

    It's in a Jiffy Bag thankfully - I'll do that :)
