  • Well, you wont have much longer to wait!!
I just phoned and have been awarded standard care and standard mobility, after 7months, but all backdated!
I may appeal the mobility, but will wait and see what they have assessed me as first.
Letter in the post, and mine went back to DWP on 1st April (email) Hard copy arrived on 3rd, so 17 working days from there, makes yours next Monday then :)

    brilliant news

At last! So pleased you have your decision, I've been hoping to see this every day! Enjoy not having to telephone them tomorrow!

It's so good we are all getting there- this forum has been so helpful; providing support when I was getting really depressed about the whole sorry business, and a way to chat with other people who were in the same situation.
How wonderful would it be if there wasn't a need for it any longer

The lady i spoke to yesterday said they are doing them the same time as the new ones. but they never know whats going on..
    Maybe worth ringing and asking.
  • Just spoke 2 a lovely lady mine was sent back 2 DWP 22 April .. Do I ring them or wait as its only a week

Mostly, DWP are quoting 2-3 weeks once recieved by DWP. It won't hurt for you to ring the DWP to double check the date they've scanned it onto their system, then maybe ring a fortnight after that? Good luck, your long journey is nearly at the end :)
