It is disgusting that they can get away with this. Just when you think great finally an answer they move the goal posts and nothing can be done about it.

Small update..
Just made my daily call and the very helpful man called simon said,that because it has been 3 weeks today he will send an email now to see why there is a holdup. He also said it should have only took a couple of days to make the decision after they recieved the answers to the queries.. Fingers crossed for some action now. :dance:

I just wanted to say thanks to Serendipity2706, your information is very helpful. My husband applied in September, the forms went to Atos 24/10/13 and he has his interview 06/05. He has already been awarded Industrial injuries benefit from a claim made on the same day and a separate interview with an Atos doctor in February, we have queried if the medical report can be used for both but it can't. We haven't chased it up too much as we are not sure that he fulfils the criteria, but the information provided here means he will be prepared on Tuesday so thanks again.

Still waiting for the outcome of my PIP application from October. Had my home visit assessment with Capita about 5 weeks ago and was told it'd be 2-3 weeks.
Chased it up last week and was told it'd be '2-3 weeks' but that it was with a case manager for a decision.

I'm not holding my breath. *rolls eyes*

Eventually got them to agree they COULD do this. He said I would hear this week- I pointed out someone has been saying this for 2 weeks now. After I kept insisting they could send an email he reluctantly agreed he could. He said he would send an email 'today' asking for someone to phone me to let me know what the hold up was, as there were no queries with the application. I agreed to this, then he said it took them 5 days to read the emails, so I could well have heard before they get round to reading the email...
It's bloody hopeless, and so frustrating.

I asked him how long it would take- I ask that as one of my standard questions when I speak with them now...
