I would guess that they wouldn't need to assess you then, as there would be enough evidence anyway. What do the other longstanding people here think?? Good luck Mark. Let us know how you get on

Without wanting to give false hope as there are always cases where things are different. I would imagine that not calling you for a face to face on the strength of your evidence will be a good thing in so much as I think you will get an award. What level that award will be at is anyone's guess.

I hope this is the case. I don't recall reading any cases with ESA or PIP where they have been declined without being called for a F2F.

Don't consider it done and dusted just yet though, you never know what Atos and DWP have up their sleeve!

I'd think you're right. This happened with me with ESA - sent enough evidence in and no f2f.

Yes, I would think you would get something without a F2F. I was given a time of 3 weeks after to goes back to DWP, so hopefully it shouldn't be much longer Mark

    Hi all,

New to the site, well I applied on November 22nd last year, had medical all been sent back to DWP, today out the blue i got a call from DWP (called back to ensure was them and not a scam) asking for my bank details, after all this was sorted I simple asked if the outcome was decided and was advised no????? So if its undecided why on earth are they calling me for bank details or is it safe to persume I have been awarded? has anyone else been in this position?

I would guess you have been awarded, or else why would they need bank details
  • Hello

I have started my appeal as I was refused on mandatory reconsideration ... They didn't even look at my doctors letter ... Was same reasons as the first. So I've sent the form off with the MR letter and some copy letters from my doc and a consultant.

So the waiting begins again :( , I have waited so long anyway what's a little more time eh.

Will keep you posted on how the appeal goes and how long it will take.

    Regards Jo :)

Good luck with your appeal. I'm concerned about your comment that they didn't look at your doctors letter. Did they actually tell you this? I'm asking because I am waiting for a reconsideration decision and have sent in a doctors letter also. If it's possible they don't look at further evidence then I fail to see the point in the MR stage.
