So saddened by the time I hear back ill have gone under financially, so what you get for building a life is nothing, less than £4k on mortgage left might as well be 5 million and sadly that's the least of my worries. Have no money for heating let alone figuring out how I can get to appointment. Without the treatment I will get worse and never work again. This is madness finally get through waiting lists to get medical assistance can't afford to go. Apparently I can apply for a free bus pass and will hear back on that in three months but without being awarded PIP payments they probably will turn it down. Seems like there is nowhere to turn.mortgage free by christmas 2014 owed £5,000, jan 2014 £4,170, £4,060, feb £3,818 march £3,399 30% of the way there woohoo

Negotiate with he ex husband to get the mortgage on interest only but it's in his best interest to bankrupt me so he ignores all corespondense from the bank and won't talk to me full stop. Just have to hold on and hope I either make a miracle recovery or get help with getting to appointments. Will make another appointment with cab just incase they can come up with something as sadly things are worse than when I last spoke to them. Sorry to be so negative it's just hope is kinda fading in my life pretty fast and god knows how ill survive winter, though sitting in one room with an electric heater is the option I'm hoping will get me through. TBH if I could find a black market buyer to sell a kidney I'd probably do it right now. I just want to get through this because with the right treatment I could be back to work in a couple of years and living a normal life again. Without it god knows.mortgage free by christmas 2014 owed £5,000, jan 2014 £4,170, £4,060, feb £3,818 march £3,399 30% of the way there woohoo

If your Social worker has written a report for you, did you send GP or specialist (consultant) letters too?
You will know whether you have a terminal illness or a high level of disability. You could ask your Social worker whether she would have thought you needed an assessment?
It is usually about three weeks for the DWP to make a decision, after assessment so shouldn't be too much longer to wait0 -
Hi all, sorry to hear u all have been waiting so long. It's an absolute shambles I must say. I made my application for pip 11th September 2013
Had my face to face assesment 20 January 2014 I call every week to see if there is any change but nothing. My mp contacted them 3 weeks ago and they claim they have received no correspondence from him.( typical) I myself have filled out the official atos complaints form, and also wrote a letter to Thierry Brenton.... He's the atos boss!!! Spoke with mp this morning and he will be emailing his queries again today. Seems as they reckon they received nothing. So let's wait and see what happens now. Anybody else gone through anything similar with mp et.c0 -
I too applied on 11 September and had my atos assessment on 20 March.
My report is in the audit process. My MP got involved at the beginning of march and it could be coincidence that I got an appointment soon after or it could have been his input.
I had a response from Atos via my MP yesterday confirming that my report was in audit and that the department have been asked to progress it through that process quickly. I am really grateful to him and hope it does get back to the DWP soon.0 -
