ks,im still convinced that I d s has set this up to give NEGATIVE attitude resulting in joe soap hearing from his mate about his mrs going to claim pip and he telling him to forget it as load of agro and not worth the stress,if this is so, I thinking this will have the desired impact on people claiming.0 -
I received a letter today from Atos - 4 months after the initial phone claim - and I was wondering if other claimants received a similar letter.
It reads:
We are writing to let you know that we have requested supporting evidence from one or more of the people you have identified as being involved in your care. This information will help us in writing our report for the Department of Work and Pensions.
We may also ask you to attend a consultation with a qualified health professional. If we do this we will write to you separately.
Haven't heard of anyone on this thread mention this. Don't know what to think of it.0 -
Hi guys I hope this helps..
I got a decision to my PIP application yesterday.
I initially made my application in June (7 months ago) and has my assessment in October (3 months ago) it took a 2 months to get the assessment after calling ATOS once a week i was able to get a cancellation.
I have been awarded the standard rate of £53.00 per month for two years and it will be backdated to my initial application date.0 -
No, it doesn't. I'm not aware of any sort of benefit that pays £53pm, could you clarify please.Wots_her_name_again? wrote: »Hi guys I hope this helps..

Poster must mean £53 a week.
"Daily living component. Weekly rate. Standard. £53."

Another phone call. Another "escalation". I wish I could just say sod it and stop phoning but I just can't, it's causing me so much stress and every time I speak to them I end up in tears with frustration.0

I feel for you but hang in there its a total farce and TBH they are all liars and don't give a s...t sorry but I am in same situation and totally sick of it. Mine was refused in December last year after waiting 4 months for a decision, the ATOS so called medical professional told a pack of lies on my report and I am now facing another delay whilst mandatory reconsideration and the prospect of yet another assessment with ATOS idiots. Oh and it could take another 11 weeks:mad::mad::mad: bloody disgusting keep phoning themAnother phone call. Another "escalation". A little bit of good news. Rang Atos and was told my assessment had gone back to DWP on 9th January. The fact that I rang on the 11th January and they told me it was still being audited is a bit strange but never mind. At that point I was at approx. 13 weeks after being assessed. Rang DWP who say they received the assessment on the 10th of January.but are saying a decision has not been made as yet. The timescales they have given me are 14 days from receipt (Jan 24th) and a further 14 days to receive any notification. Still don't know what the decision will be but at least I am out of the audit pile. :T0

I had 2 escalations, then started phoning daily for a cancellation- anywhere- got one the next day for 2 weeks time, so if you are flexible, that might be worth a tryAnother phone call.
