I'm on the phone to them now. I'm asking what's going on with my MR and my complaint- I've not even had any form of acknowledgement  I know they've got it as they sent my repeat prescription list back to me by recorded post middle of last week so I want to know what happens next. In a queue- typical
Aww good luck hope you get somewhere I was wondering how Geordie girl was getting on too as she's not been on. X0 -

Afternoon everyone. I'm new to the thread. I just happened to google waiting times for PIP decisions and luckily got this site. I've posted my form back today and in my naive head thought this was something that would be dealt with in 2/3 months. Absolutely appalled reading how long some of you have been waiting for decisions and initial f2f. I have a degenerative neurological disease. My condition has deteriorated so badly lately I need extra help for things. I live in Essex. I wondered if nationally there is a problem or certain areas are worse than others? Wouldn't it be brilliant if some if the many unemployed could be trained and employed by ATOS and Capita, two birds with one stone and all that. I hope you all get decisions soon and I guess I must now prepare myself for a 6/12 month wait. Still gobsmacked!0

Thanks Caza
I gave up on 10 minutes  I'm trying again- in another queue! I've not spoken to the CM yet as I had to ask for a different date for a call back as I've been at my Mum's for respite where there is no mobile reception  I just want reassuring that they are going to allow my request for an MR as they initially told me they wouldn't until I had spoken to the CM  however the last lady I spoke to who was very good said given the timescales to submit it anyway which I have. I'm just trying to find out now what the situation is. Getting very stressed
as I pointed out to them last time for someone that the PIP powers that be consider to be 'perfectly healthy' it's making me quite unwell!!

My f2f was on 11th June...I daren't even ring up as I'm quite sure it'll just put the wind up me. I've tried to be really laid back about it all, but I really need to know now as I need to get some financial figures into Uni due to a funding !!!! up...that's a whole other nightmare! xx
So was my F2F, mid June, and I tried to be as laid back as possible. I just called the DWP today, and got told that my report is still with Atos. According to the DWP the confirmation letter (now we got all information and a decision can be made) means that the system got the information from Atos that my report is ready, but the real file still needs to be sent, which hasn't been done.
I find this confusing, another 6 weeks disappeared. Next lottery: will anybody ever send my file to the DWP?
PS: I'm waiting since October.0 -
Hi all,
I got a letter from ATOS today?
I would like to know if this is a standard letter or not as this is the first time putting in for PIP I will put it up word for word on here.
Yes, Marcus, that's not unusual, I got the same letter, and the day after another one "We have finished your assessment report and it's ready to send to the DWP". They have to check (I think 10% of all) reports, it doesn't mean yours is different from others.
But on the other hand ---> look at my last post here0 -
Aww mrs Ryan sounds like your having a nightmare and you defo need help its horrible you going through this with your health to deal with too. I really hope you get some answers soon its ridiculous
I've just rang again and ended up in tears I keep getting told final stage this week so I just checked before 6 to be told they asked for more info on the 18th from atos so expect a delay that came from nowhere so I rang back and the guy said yeah we did but we actually got it back the same day
Most say its the final stage a descion with me made this week has anyone had that and happened before x0 -

There is a risk, yes. When I was appealing my DLA care, I always wrote what my mobility was like - even though they'd awarded me mobility.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Marcus6: I had the exact same letter so, yes, it is a standard one. I had another letter 6 days later to tell me that my file had been sent to DWP. It then only took 2 weeks for me to get my decision. So fingers x'd that you don't have to wait too much longer. Good luck.
Thank you Kittykat170 -
I won't get anything backdated if I'm awarded, as I'm a DLA migration. I only got LRC DLA, so it means that I'm not entitled to any disability premiums on my ESA, but I believe that if I got standard care PIP, I would be? I'm lucky in that I've still been receiving my DLA throughout though, it means my cleaners can keep coming
Bit fed up of it all now. This last leg is awful...
Good luck Mrs Ryan, I've been thinking of you!
Caz - the story just seems to change all the time doesn't it? Your phone bill must be feeling it! I'm not going to ring until a week Monday, I'm attempting to go back to work tomorrow after a few days off due to a flare. I can just about shuffle far enough to get in the office, but if anyone asks any more than that, I'll be stuffedOn the up side, I emailed a photo of the state I'm in to my consultant today and he's asked to see me tomorrow lunchtime. Here's hoping he's developed a miracle cure! xx
