I won't get anything backdated if I'm awarded, as I'm a DLA migration. I only got LRC DLA, so it means that I'm not entitled to any disability premiums on my ESA, but I believe that if I got standard care PIP, I would be? I'm lucky in that I've still been receiving my DLA throughout though, it means my cleaners can keep coming :)

Bit fed up of it all now. This last leg is awful...

Good luck Mrs Ryan, I've been thinking of you!

Caz - the story just seems to change all the time doesn't it? Your phone bill must be feeling it! I'm not going to ring until a week Monday, I'm attempting to go back to work tomorrow after a few days off due to a flare. I can just about shuffle far enough to get in the office, but if anyone asks any more than that, I'll be stuffed :D On the up side, I emailed a photo of the state I'm in to my consultant today and he's asked to see me tomorrow lunchtime. Here's hoping he's developed a miracle cure! xx
    .
Yeah it does and bless you. Tbh I think you should find out before me even though mines meant to be this week
They need to be consistent with what they say and when my claim is over they know I am making a complaint about that if I was told no I wouldn't get a decision for two weeks I'd not ring but they say oh today you will or tomorrow.
I've just been given the disability element on ESA but not sure if that helps towards pip I Don't understand all that
I hope you get your decision soon and a good one. I only presume if awarded I get back dated and its at 45 weeks but ill be happy to be awarded more than anything.
I have this guilt with my family for things I can't do as mines only been like this 2 years although they don't mind doing everything most of the time I still feel guilt and I think this to me proves I need help

Thanks everyone xx I'm in ESA support group but the annoying thing is that PIP have ignored the reason I get it and said it's down to mild depression..
So I finally got through to someone. They have all my info but they didn't have it on the system that I needed a call back from a CM  the woman I spoke to said it will just give me a chance to tell them why I think the decision is wrong but I said it's all in the letter and put it through for an MR- I asked specifically to speak to a woman when they ring and she said I'll hear in the next 5 working days which will take it up till the 30th- my letter was dated the 1st so I hope I hear soon!
Good luck everyone x this is such an awful stressful experience! :(

Some of the criteria is very similar. I am in the support group of ESA because of the problems I have with communication, which is also partly why I receive DLA.

Thank you indie kid it gives me a better understanding

Mrs Ryan I didn't even realise I suffer depression bad till I had my assessment she was the one that said I had clinical depression due to my experience. She also said I had short term memory and a weakness on my left side. You will get it if you fight it x

There is a risk, yes. When I was appealing my DLA care, I always wrote what my mobility was like - even though they'd awarded me mobility.
thats whats im worried about, im so grateful to get an award that i scared if i ask for a recon it will all go wrong, so im thinking it might be best just to not do anything. but looking at the mobility criteria i cant understand how i didnt get an award for it, i was expecting to just get lower mob and no care . On DLA i was getting lower care and lower mobility, so money wise im better off now by £11 a week so i cant really moan :)

i hope everyone else gets their awards too, ive been thru so much stress and made myself ill with worry over the last 5 months, i dont think i have the strength to go thru it again

Congratulations! If you receive any benefits, you need to inform the DWP / LA / HMRC. You may be entitled to more.
