From one Geordie girl to another- also failed. There is allegedly nothing wrong with me. I'm absolutely terrified now that they're going to take my ESA off me. I wish I could scream at them if they saw that I couldn't handle it and started smashing things up as I have that there is nothing at all wrong with me. I feel exhausted and sick now- I've had four panic attacks one after the other :( my ESA is only until September and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get 0 points again :( I've read the reasoning and the whole thing is one massive lie from start to end

I'm too exhausted to think straight. I'm straight to the doctors on Monday and telling them I need some proper help. I've scared myself with the reaction I had never mind my poor partner who is also mentally unwell. I suppose I should be thankful as it's highlighted just how much I can't actually cope :(

First of all, sorry to hear this. :(

Are you getting any professional help (whether that's just a consultant or social services) who can help you with your MR? In terms of evidence and stuff.

    Hi indie,
No there's no one. I'm only under my GP for my MH problems as no matter how many times I've begged them to refer me for some proper help they won't. My MH trust (who ironically still employ me so I'm fairly aware of the situation) are so skint they've cut services back to beyond the absolute minimum. Dr keeps fobbing me off with 'oh try CBT again' even though it didn't work. I have told them on more than one occasion I feel suicidal and they just keep upping my meds. Daily life is becoming more and more of a struggle and I increasingly find my mood and my temper run away with me. My partner has psychosis and delusional disorder and he's more calm than me!

Mymain part is my mobility at only 36 I have so much going on I had to have a hysterectomy may 2013 due to a disease in my pelvic my plan was have that and by sept be back at work biggest mistake of my life they damaged my bladder and bowels and due to the pain I get on top I can't bend stretch are pull on top of that I have a heart rate that won't settle under 135 and they still don't know why even the asser was shocked how high my meds are she said I think your clinically depressed too and she wrote on my notes that she found 2 other things wrong. The thing is after all that she still come out to see how I was getting home. I went from a outgoing person to never leaving my house unless its for hospital. My husband went back to work after a few weeks from surgery n we found I couldn't even make a simple dinner I would starve till he got in then I would be scared to have a bath because I couldn't get in properly and out it just went on from there. He cut his hours and then had to be home full
    Time that's why we applied
So it gets at me mentally and as I've noticed it's not something that goes overnight I don't understand why they question mental health if there not going to help for it. She also asked if I had any sucidal thoughts I don't get them I just have nights where I go to bed and not care if I was here the next day. Feeling my family would have a better life. I am just grateful like most of you's we have help I couldn't live without it x

    Hi Geordie girl,
Thanks for the support:-) Although I am London born, my mum and all her side of the family are Geordies living in Newcastle or South Shields and I have heard a few reports of it being harder to claim in some areas. I actually live in a small town down the coast from Blackpool now and know nothing about the situation here. Its just that I read some of your guys older posts and think how can you be declined! I have been trying to think back to the assessment and going over mine or Jades response to figure out how it could have a positive spin put on it. I think I have now convinced myself it will be declined. Yet when I went on one of those check your points websites, My daughter would have scored enough points for enhanced care! None for mobility really as the only issue there is that one of us has to walk with her anywhere as she is so focused on not standing on anything contaminated she doesnt watch the traffic and has almost been knocked over a number of times. I hate how it appears the people in real need are not being helped when i know quite a few people who are cheating the system big time. I will help you all out if i ever win the lottery and thats a promise. :)

I think (and I will check the criteria later) that there's criteria for mobility relating to safety / needing someone with you when you're outdoors which might be relevant.

It's one of the highest points I am sure planning trips and being able to carry them out if you can't it's 8 points I know someone who got pip for this but had dla before this for there child who is 17 now unable too cook unattended and has no road sense she would walk out without looking she is still being tested atm
I also agree I know ppl who get pip/dla and I don't think they need it which is wrong because genuine suffer.
