That's great to hear. Really happy for you - did you get what you hoped for? Here's hoping for good news this week for the others amongst us that have been waiting for ever. x
Thank you, it was a split result and to be honest I had a bad night last night and was still awake at 5.45 am and she rang me early and I had only just opened my eyes. I have asked for them to send me a copy of the report and the supplementary report too, she said the decision was made yesterday afternoon even though I rang yesterday and was told nothing. She actually spoke to me as tho she had utter contempt for me it was strange and because I knew she was desperate to finish the call I just kept asking more questions. I am content that this stage is over but I know it's not finished. I have a month to decide what I wish to do so I will use that time to repair my strength and build my spirit back before they stripped me of it!!:A

Thank you so much, have the family coming together Sat to discuss what to do if anything, have requested a copy of the report, both parts and will decide but in the meantime I just want to repair the damage done to my soul. So lots of incense and candles and positive thought to the universe in thanks and prayers for everyone else still in the midst of a horrific journey. :rotfl:

Just now hun so pleased for you really am xxx
I am so relieved but you know, I don't feel as good as I thought I would and I think that's only because we don't realise at the time, just how much it does actually drain us. I never wanna talk to another Gov dept in my life but I know that's not a realistic thing because it's inevitable that I will but this is how I feel "Post PIP" I believe I may even have PTSD as a result and may have to consult a Legal Consultant to discuss my options!!!

The Prime Minister was quick to put up the pretense in backing the Sec of State yesterday but you know, if some people actually get together and start a law suit to hold Ian Duncan Smith accountable for his failings then we would see not only a change in the Prime Minister's support but also a change in reform and personnel too!!

Oh Beth so pleased for you hunni :T:j:beer::Athank god its finally over for you xxx
I am waiting for the letter should be here by Monday as even they take 6 days. I also asked for a copy of my reports both parts and they said the arrears will be in my account within 4 days from Monday so she said by this Friday but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that. I don't know if I'm gonna ask for an MR because my daughter has to do everything for me, even shower me and my meals etc and yet they awarded me the lower rate of daily living but got the higher rate of mob. What do you think I should do guys, should I cut my losses and move on or should I fight for what is right? This is why I need to see the report, I need to see how they scored those points and what additional notes were made.

Hope your money's in nice and quick, if it's under £5k arrears should be just as they say. It's when it's over that amount the problems kick in.

Your award letter will break down each descriptor and show the points scored against both daily living and mobility components. If you feel they've underscored you on some of the care descriptors you should ask for a mandatory reconsideration, that will give you the opportunity you to discuss where you think the decision maker has misinterpreted your report. I know it will have been tough to get this far and it maybe easier to settle for what they've given you than fight any further but the cynic in me says that what they want us to do.

Made up you've got your decision, just that is a weight off your shoulders.

I agree with sunshine Susie if you think the scores are wrong go for it hun. My MR took about 6 weeks and they just want you to accept what they say so I would fight for the enhanced hunni xx
