Neveah: Quite possibly. Him Indoors has the same habit and doesn't give stuff enough room to slosh about. There's a difference between an ecologically sound full load and packed like sardines that he hasn't quite appreciated, despite his mature years‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

im waiting for the wm to finish then going to rewash smelly washing
unloaded and reloaded dw0 -
Morning
Been having a bit of a wrestle with the BD, retreating back to my pit at every opportunity and as a result it truly has become the Skint Pitz.
I had a few hours sleep last night, DD1 moved DD4 and her cot out in the middle of the night into DD2 room while DD1 had a few hours on FB and Skyp£. Very chuffed with DD1, although DS was less impressed when he woke up
"Mummy, Mummy my Holly is missing, a thief has broken in and STOLEN her! and her cot too!"
So this morning I have:
decluttered a bowl of half n half cornflakes (half cheapy 35p Mr T value and half Crunchy Nut very :money:)
hoovered my pit and my mattress
changed sheets
removed floor-drobe
removed gibble from all flat surfaces
washed all flat surfaces over
wiped both window sills
played "moth-watching" and releasing back out of the windows in en-suite.
DS has enjoyed moth watching......quite by accident, saved a lot of petrol and entrance fees to butterfly farms.....Skinty's guide....open ensuite window to let fresh air in (smelly nappy smells out) turn the light on, shut the door, forget to go in until morning
a voila 10 different types of moth all over bathroom (I just need to get washing done now just in case eggs have been laid  )
If I plan to do this again, I will make sure there are no clothes or fabrics left in the room
Other jobs to do, DD3 failed to bring in the washing -she told me she had done it (it is completely drenched along with the only sunlounger I have bought brand new with a thick cushion on it, also completely drenched)
do the understairs cupboard to find my missing mop and then blitz the kitchen.
Right, time for a cuppa and then make a startThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Afternoon all.

I'd love to know how its Friday already. We were going to go shopping today but we're both shattered so we'll fly today and go shopping next week & buy a bus pass for the day so we can get them all done in one day despite them being spread out over the city.

... in 30 minutes? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
My printer is deceased. My walkabout phone handset number 1 seems to be deceased despite a new set of rechargeable batteries.
I have emigrated to Firefox as Explorer seems to be behaving totally weirdly now that Wirgin has 'improved' it's service.
Mrs Dog is with the vet, who has already told me that the total bill for her dental work will be double the estimate - and that had two zeros on it. I knew she'd had seven teeth extracted before I took her on, but apparently she needs most of the rest out they're so bad. No-one would put her through cleaning her teeth daily as she's so terrified of any interventions, after years of (apparently benign) neglect. She won't eat unless she's absolutely starving and her breath is the worst I've ever come across, so I knew there were serious problems in her mouth. Question: Would Flyladies think me unreasonable to ask the original rescue charity for a donation for this work? I honestly thought her dental problems had been dealt with properly when they said they'd taken seven out. (She also had a horrendous skin condition that will take time to deal with, but I can absorb the cost of that.) I picked her up on 5 June, so I've had her 10 weeks 2 days - these are not new dental problems.Better is good enough.0 -

Clean the toilets and sinks, shine those taps
Clear the floors and hoover and mop them, right into the manky corners
Clean the bath

Clear and clean the bedside table/dressing table

Friday Rooms of Dooms - LR

Not got a pile, then your surfaces should be nice and clear for a good dusting.
Bossy that pic of DD was sooo cute :A
Skinty lol at DS telling you 'they've taken my Holly.' Love your 'moth-watching' idea. Sticks for your BD x
roxy as inoafan says, there is no failing; only fluttering, faffing, fiddling & farting-about until you can fly again
GI hope DH hears soon he has the job
pigpen how's today's name working out?
Hope people with migraine, lurgey & anything else feel much better very soon.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
No you're not. Baby steps! Rome wasn't built in a day
Roxy flyladies don't fail we flutter, we falter we faff but we never fail
To make you feel better I've drank tea and gossiped for 3 hours and done nothing else.
Oh ow it's lunch timeThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Honey Bear in the circumstances I think it's quite reasonable to ask the rescue place for a donation. Even if they say no, you've registered the fact that she needs more medical help than they implied... and it might make them think twice next time they have a poorly animal to be fostered... HTH. Poor Mrs Dog x*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0
