MIL has taken a small cabin sized case of swimmies and towels to wash :T and my WM is on again. DS tiger is nice and white looking, and even a little fluffier thanks to his soak in brightening stuff, and a brush with DDs t@ngle teezer
and DD blankie is much fresher looking too.
FIL has cut the grass for me :A and we've told them all about our hols (including their one small cousin who's behaviour was atrocious - he had DD up against a wall at one point ) and briefly mentioned next year (MIL wants to come with us and FIL is thinking about it - I said it won't the the whole clan, just me and tots, my mum and stepdad, and hopefully MIL and FIL, so perhaps he will come after all).
We are all tired again so won't be a late night for me - kids are now on sofa watching a DVD, and I'm aimlessly pottering. Think I MIT look for inspiration for DD birthday cake - just a few weeks away.
We might go shopping tomorrow, see if I can get DS a track suit top for his pe kit.Bossymoo

Not been around for a couple of days but have been very busy.. Spent yesterday at a friends house who is a bit of a hoarder, so helped her with a backlog of laundry and the decluttering of 2 kitchen worktops, tins "which might be useful one day", a broken down into pieces sideboard that has been sat there in the kitchen for weeks. It's now in her car for when she's passing the tip. We hoovered both hers and my car and I got rid of 8 crisp boxes of books to the BHF bin in town. They had been sat in the barn for 6 months gathering dust. I told OH I'd taken them and lo and behold "I wanted to look through them first" I told him last week that I was getting shot of them. Give me strength!
Been at the paid stuff today so have cleaned, dusted, polished and hoovered 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and the whole shebang. Nothing done here, but I am going to indulge in some ME time by going for a power walk with the dog after dinner.
Off to Manchester straight after work tomorrow night to see my sister and Auntie, whilst dropping the kids off with MIL who is having them for a week :A:T:j
Right - time to load up the WM and peel some spuds.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016
Debts - Vanquis £3500 1/1/16; DFD - when I'm dead with £100,000,000+ interest  UPDATED Feb 2016 £2739.80; DFD June 2016 :j
Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 20160 -
well we are packing up shortly and heading to my dads for the rest of the week, it has poured today and the gits in the van next to us came back at 1.30 last night and made so much noise that I got up and made a cuppa at 2.30 then it started to rain so they went inside. They were at it again at 8 this morning
OH is a poor sleeper at the best of time and his BD is never far away so we will cut our losses and go to dad until Saturday and then home
I'd be happy to go home today really but OH has arranged to met a buddy on Saturday, that's okay really
so caravan to clean and car to pack
TTFNGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

Kids in bed
I know its early but they are goosed. They were messing about during the story, had 3 warnings, then I shut the book and sent them to bed. By the time I'd tucked DS in, DD was sprawled on hers fast asleep.
Getting a bit wild and windy here...
So, since my eyes are starting to feel itchy and hot, I think an early night for me too. So, a shower and some body lotion then some nice pjs.
Strike that, DS has just come in asking for cuddles...Bossymoo

School shoes purchased, exactly the same as the last pair, size too which is a bit of a worry but they are comfy and he likes them.
Not got to the flying again but I feel a little energy spurt coming on so going to start with a HH and see where it takes me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening  well done to all the fly-kids for results and hard efforts this year
reporting in on today's frog munching
DD2 went to her friends house last night to pull an all nighter so they could be together when results came in this morning
DD2 got into Christchurch Canterbury, her first choice for her Sociology degree. As predicted she got a D for art, and was worried as CCCU wanted CCC at A level. She got B for English Literature and B for Sociology, and she got an extra AS level in Anthropology with a B.
Very chuffed Skinty.
Move in day for DD2 checked, it is the week after DD1 goes back to Wolves, so another wallop on the plastic for a travelodge to get DD2 on her merry way
Spoke to V@x got a replacement handle on the way FOC
Ordered DD2 dress for her friends wedding
Rang my DoM to tell her DD2 results
DD1 had phone call from TV licensing about her student accommodation from a caller who couldn't *ahem* communicate clearly who then ended up cancelling the TV licence for my house without speaking to me. One escalated call from a miffed Skinty 5 minutes later got TV reinstated along with a profuse apology.
A meal out booked on behalf of kids for EX's present (and as a sneaky backhanded congratulations for DD2) as it will be the last time we will all be together as DD1 while not be coming home next summer.
Got 3/4 of the drive de-weeded this morning while DD4 was asleep and DS at nursery
DD3 has pegged out and fed DW.....DD1 is now earning her crust by watching DD4 and DS as I must must must have a quick nap, I am exhausted and completely out of spoons.
Will try to catch up tomorrow
Nighty nighty one and allThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

DD, who is somewhat disappointed with her results (she had hoped for higher grades) 'ordered' some stuff from Cath Kidston for delivery to store and could we go pick it up - from the v. large Shopping Centre by the M1...got there...nothing. My 'have you got a confirmation email' which she said 'yes' to before we went was actually her remembering the intended date of delivery to store, it appears. Nothing there, nothing on their system. Chances are she didn't fully click through and actually order, given there have been no 'confirmation of order' and 'your order has arrived in store' emails....I have bitten my tongue but I was less than pleased to have been dragged on a fool's errand. If I said something she would start on a downward spiral of 'I'm stupid etc...' given her mood. A depressed teen is somehting I could do without.
I will ask her to log onto her bank account and see if the order ever went through later.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
