  • DD2 has got her results apparently. She got a B in photography, and D/D in double health & Social Care. I think she is happy with that as she has text us! I think she was expecting to get an E for health.

Bed stripped & in WM. I am still in my PJ's :o

Removal of those awful compression socks seems to have done the trick and while I needed 5 wee's in the night to deal with the excess fluid my feet are at a reasonable size again.. I thought those socks were meant to prevent such swelling.. hey-ho I might even be able to get my shoes on!!

Stocked DD3 and DD4 up with legs/jumpers for winter.. they have both shot up this year! H&M super cheapy ones should keep them going for a while! I need to sort tights for them and go through the winter coats at some point.. I might do that today actually seeing as my sister said she has a mountain of stuff heading this way for Squeak! I need to rifle out the newborn and 0-3 stuff for the uninhabitant.. that baby is amazing.. she wakes for 2 feeds in the night and has wakey up time just before I go to bed so I can feed her and get a good 3-4 hours before she demands me again! She is the complete opposite of Dot!!

    WM x2 done
    DW on
    Recycling sorted
DD2 clearing the table and I'll S&S the kitchen.
Mince out for dinner so someone can peel spudatoes for mash. Might send OH to find meatballs for tomorrow the 2 tiddlies LOOVE them.

    *notices familiar aroma*

Me to OH.. can you just check her bum?
Dot promptly stuffs a finger in the leg of her nappy to pull it out with a liberal brown coating...

    This child is NOT pleasant!!!

I just realised I have 4 different sizes of nappies actually being used in here now!!!

I need to sell a pushchair.

    Phew!

DS received a text from his first-choice Uni first thing so we knew he'd done well enough before heading up to school. His results are good and I am very pleased.

DD has passed Year 12 (AS year) and will go on to Year 13; she has got good AS results.

    Congratulations cards have been written.

Tesco shop done.. small fortune spent.. I swear my food bill triples during school holidays!

Off to hang out washing before the baby wakes for feeding.. she won't be patiently waiting given she was last fed at 7amish!

OH can strip the cots and redo the DW I think.

  • Well done to the Vallikids :)

I have showered & washed hair. Also taken a bit of time to apply moisturiser (don't usually bother :o) so that is Me-time taken care of. I smell like a b0dysh0p Satsuma now!

Washing is on the line, and I have poo-picked while I was out there.

I am going to make a cuppa, then tackle my SEF (I know, I have been saying that all week!! I need a bit of a kick, I think)

    Fabulous news, Valli :T

Whites soaked along with DS shirt - he had a tussle with a swing on holiday resulting in a lot of blood over a lovely new shirt. Tiniest of grazes on his nut, no idea where all the red stuff came from. It's all in WM now so hopefully it will come out. Most of it came out with just a cold water soak on holiday.

Unpacking done, clothes into piles, I have 5 loads although MIL has volunteered to take some, I may ask her to do the towels and swimmies, but I'm sure we can manage here, its actually quite bright and warm so should be able to line-dry.

Managed to get through to tax credits to a very helpful lady, who has amended our details, so that's another off the list. I've checked my calendar, and its next Thu rather than today at the dentist, which is good as I don't really want to go anywhere today if I don't have to.

Kiddies have got lots of toys out, bless em. They've really missed their playthings.

Am just going to browse the Avon book with a cold drink, then I will continue my rehoming activities and get some lunch together.

Valli that is brilliant news for both the Valli kids is DS1 going far from home?

Ds2 got the results he had expected, a little disappointed in one but not surprised. He worked so hard but has said I need to work harder next year and has gone upstairs with a text book.

Just going to put the washing on the line, make a phone call then clean the shower room all before lunch.
