I would get eye surgery to save the drudgery of wearing glasses all the time.

In fact, I am going to do it anyway, I have decided to dip into my savings and go ahead and get lens replacements once I get back from my holiday :)

I would buy myself a little house, to give me the security I've never really had. I live with my partner in his house, but we live so far away from my family.
Treat other's how you like to be treated.

    Harry born 23/09/2008
New baby grandson, Louie born 28/06/2012,
Proud nanny to two beautiful boys :j
And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better

    UPDATE,
As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

    I am considering that too..
I don't need glasses all the time, just for driving and if I really want to see something in a distance clearly :p, but I find that quite annoying.
I just don't know enough about it really... need to do some research.

I've had it, and it's life-changing. Well worth the money. :)

Laser eye surgery is the most expensive thing I've ever purchased, but I've never regretted that expense.

Been thinking about this for a while as I'm hopefully coming to the end of my IVA within the next 12 months. Ideally I'd like to save about 70-75% of the money that goes towards the IVA. As for the rest I'd like to have some regular horse riding lessons, go to the dentist (sad I know), paint my flat and look at replacing both the carpets and sofa/armchair which have all been destroyed by my cats :( It won't all by done in one go but something to aim for.

Nice towels... We can afford the new bathroom but lovely soft towels are out of the budget until the sales. Some of ours are 10+ years old and stolen from my parents.

Or a kitchen aid mixer but I'm not sure I'd want to spend "our" windfall on me. I'd like to treat us both...

I'm off to buy a lottery ticket!

Did you see the Christie towels comp ?

  • After 7 years of constant penny watching and now out of the dark dark tunnel, I was ridiculously happy the other day when, on finding there was no bread to make packed lunches, to be able to say to Hubby ' Don't worry - just buy a pre-packed one - we can afford it now'.
