I would get eye surgery to save the drudgery of wearing glasses all the time.
In fact, I am going to do it anyway, I have decided to dip into my savings and go ahead and get lens replacements once I get back from my holiday0 -
I would buy myself a little house, to give me the security I've never really had. I live with my partner in his house, but we live so far away from my family.Treat other's how you like to be treated.

I am considering that too..
I don't need glasses all the time, just for driving and if I really want to see something in a distance clearly, but I find that quite annoying.
I just don't know enough about it really... need to do some research.0 -

I've had it, and it's life-changing. Well worth the money.
Laser eye surgery is the most expensive thing I've ever purchased, but I've never regretted that expense.0 -

Been thinking about this for a while as I'm hopefully coming to the end of my IVA within the next 12 months. Ideally I'd like to save about 70-75% of the money that goes towards the IVA. As for the rest I'd like to have some regular horse riding lessons, go to the dentist (sad I know), paint my flat and look at replacing both the carpets and sofa/armchair which have all been destroyed by my cats
It won't all by done in one go but something to aim for.

Or a kitchen aid mixer but I'm not sure I'd want to spend "our" windfall on me. I'd like to treat us both...
I'm off to buy a lottery ticket!
Did you see the Christie towels comp ?

After 7 years of constant penny watching and now out of the dark dark tunnel, I was ridiculously happy the other day when, on finding there was no bread to make packed lunches, to be able to say to Hubby ' Don't worry - just buy a pre-packed one - we can afford it now'.
