Ok, let's end the speculation on returns shall we

That's what I get when I click the return/replace button, plainly, it would go to the seller, then if have nothing when Littlewoods call asking for it back. Not happening b

That's because your order is not fulfilled by amazon. Fulfilled by would go back to Amazon as they provide the fulfillment off the order to the company you buy from (applies to certain items only - those fulfilled by Amazon).

Your screenshot says they would send the request for return to the seller, who if approves would provide instructions on exactly where to send it. Which if this is fraud could be yet another person in the fraud chain...

Oh, and I can't edit the thread title, anyone know how?

Click on Edit on your original post.

    Then click Go Advanced

Then adjust your title in the Title box.
  • The danger you have here op, is you have paid below the retail price for it....if something is to good to be true.

If it didn't before, then that last email should really have brought it home.

The fact you know something isn't right either with the contact you've had. If littlewoods do involve the police, as for all you know it might not be a one off. It could be on a mass scale. With lots of cards and accounts. Then the police will certainly be looking at who has received items and reclaiming them etc.

So I'd fully explain your concerns NOW, in writing. So no one can say you just sat back and accepted the goods. Taking advice from the local police station would be prudent too. You need to protect yourself.

I certainly wouldn't return it, you don't want to bee seen handling good you suspect could be stolen due to fraud.

Contact your card issuer for advice as you will be covered under s75.

Amazon themselves are also offering it below RRP, the price I apy should have no bearing on it.

However, you are right. I am drafting emails now, to Littlewoods, and Amazon, and will also be contacting my local police. I have everything that came with it, the Littlewoods slip, even the shipping bag they put it in, and I've saved all communication from the seller.

If anyone knows the usernames of ther very.co.uk reps here, could they let me know who they are please, I'd like to invite them to look this over as well.
Please excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!

    Why bother??

    You got what you wanted.

You contacted both companies, they said not to worry.

    The end.

Because I'd prefer to get this sorted out now, while I have the time, rather than wait til the police or bailifs are called in when I'm back a work.

I think you, and some others on here, are being rather melodramatic. Best case you'll just keep the laptop. Worst case police will just ask for it to be returned.

And I'm out nearly £400, wonderful! Thanks for the help (not)

Easily said when it's not your money at stake.

Seriously, you don't know what you are talking about. if its a Market Place seller FULFILLED by Amazon then the return is to Amazon.

You need to look up what the word fulfilled means as you are talking rubbish.

WRONG. i should know i had to return an item and it was returned to the SELLER.

are you one of the MSE user who are always right and everyone else is wrong.

    but regardless the OP stated
it was from one of their market place sellers, not Amazon directly.

so it would be returned to the SELLER
