I'm sure I've seen it in a few Swedish drag queens around Eurovision time.0 -
No but I like it
Having said that, the walls of my living room are lime green and purple, the two smaller walls are lime green, bigger ones are purple (or violet, one or the other).
Wouldnt buy the dress but its not as horrible as yellow and blue would be together.
I know it says yellow on the blurb but that looks orange to me and no Im not colourblind, everyone else in my family is apart from me
Orange and Blue. you thirsty by any chance? The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Well the dresses I'd ordered from the links on here arrived this morning.
They are really very lovely. On the hanger.Herman - MP for all!0 -
My belly is my problem area. That's why the asda dress I linked to suits me, because It has that pattern that draws attention away. Also, it kind of hangs from my boobs a bit, so it skims my belly rather than clinging to it. I know it's not available any more, but perhaps something with a bold pattern might make you feel more confident, if it doesn't draw attention to your middle by having just an expanse of plain colour.52% tight0

On, no
I know that horrible feeling when you have ordered clothes online and they arrive and they are gorgeous and you are all excited ........until you put them on
have you had an opinion off someone else, though? Sometimes other people don't see what we see, like we might focus loads on a really small thing like 'it accentuates my back' (totally with you there btw, I have horrible back fat!) but other people don't go around looking at people and thinking 'my goodness, that dress accentuates her back!' If you know what I mean.
Anyway, good luck shopping, I really hope you find something!0 -
The one with elastic that's tight on your back, would be be better one size bigger? With the asda dress I felt like it was tight on my back, so I went up a size. The smaller one looked fine, but I wasn't comfortable. I worried that if I bent over, etc. the outline of my bra would show.52% tight0

Another thing I did last time I went to a wedding and couldn't deicde, was to take a photo of myself in each outfit, then put the photos together on a page and see which looked most flattering. There was a lovely ruched dress that my sister lent me, in a beautiful flattering colour and it was expensive and really drapey and everything, but when I put all the photos together that dress just made me look pregnant, so I wore black linen trousers and a nice top with sparkly jewellery instead.52% tight0
